Also re: homemade bread, one of my stepdad's old churches (he's a Presbyterian minister, for those who don't already know) made their own bread for the communion because one of the girls in the choir had celiac disease (and this was before gluten-free was the "hip new thing"). Their bread was some of the best bread I've ever tasted.

Homemade bread is fab. I should try making some some time.

They didn't even give out grape juice, it was just those cardboard-esque wafers.

Okay, that's really weird, you're supposed to have both. Wine/grape juice is the blood of Christ and wafers/bread are the body.

I know what the belief is (especially the Catholic version where the bread [cardboard wafer] and wine are supposed to be literally the body and blood of Christ), but they just didn't feed us any drink. I don't know what to tell ya sister.

Also we always got white wine at the Lutheran church, presumably so it didn't stain if someone spilled.

@TheMissingno.; I wasn't trying to suggest you didn't know, more that maybe that church didn't know?

Also I would totes go to a church that served white wine. OMG. What kind of white wine was it?

Okay I'm watching MPGiS again. The fact that Deandra's automail robotic arm makes this "whirring" sound whenever she moves it is just killing me. What is it about this show?

I dunno, I kind of doubt that they didn't know. The priest always drank. Also this was at several different churches, not just one. I think I'll just chalk it up to cheapness and leave it at that.

I dunno, I haven't been to that church in like 9 years.

Seriously, the fact that I made that association with her arm was just such a "You know you watch too much anime when..." moment.

The Lizzie McGuire line also made me laugh out loud.

I love white wine, though, furrealz. I'm really bummed that I'm broke and I'm going to have to make this bottle of moscato last.

If you find me this weekend I'll buy you a bottle.

Recently when I've been cooking with ground beef I've been not draining the grease. It makes my food taste oh so much better.

I tend to take the burger grease mix it with some flower and butter, and make a gravy for the mash potatoes. Fattening? So what, homemade gravy is the shit.

Um, in which case you should DEFINITELY come to Boston. haha.

LUNCH LADY BELINDA CALLED IT.

I knew it as soon as Saison appeared in the frame.

I mean, it makes the most sense too by process of elimination. Trisha's boyfriend doesn't have a dick, Shay's is too busy staring at the football team's butts and Brittnay is basically dating her hand at this point.

It really does! While it does make the food more fattening, it just tastes more flavorful. *Does this when using Hamburger Helper*

I haven't had hamburger helper in a while, but I did it with chili and spaghetti sauce.

We don't even have that here. And anyone, you want funky burgers, you go ahead and help yourself do it.

Also speaking off macaroni sauce on burgers, I just made a Mozzarella Burger. My god is the combination a combo of legends.

Not that it's particularly hard to make either.

Maybe I'll make some next week...

All this food talk is making me hungry.

Time to pull out the baked tofu from last night and get cracking on this article.

I'm hungry, too. Maybe I'll get writing for once, too.

I just got back from counseling, but it didn't go very well today. :/ My therapist wants to get me on medication, but I really don't want to, and so when she started talking about it with my mom they just went in circles and I felt really uncomfortable. And now I'm down.

If it makes you feel better, I'm on anti-depressants. But I was on too high of a dose at first, and it made me not want to get anything done and I had some serious academic problems until my professors were notified that it was medical, and I got on a lower dose.

So that probably isn't very reassuring...sorry. But if your therapist thinks it's a good idea I'd at least consider it. I was the one who wanted to get on meds, because I felt like therapy wasn't doing enough on its own.

Anyway, I asked my mom to help me with the article I'm writing for the sports writer/editor position. I'm now wondering if that was such a good idea. I think she just broke my brain with all the baseball minutia she dumped into it, lol.

The thing is, I feel like my therapist and my mom are both backwards on some things. My therapist says that I'm in very poor clinical condition even if I feel okay for now, and I don't know how I feel about that other than I don't want medication for it, but my mom says that I'm improving, and I don't know how I feel about that, either, other than that I don't think therapy is holding me back like she says it is.

Ugh, just ugh. I thought therapy was supposed to make me feel secure.
