I used to be good at remembering dreams, but now, not so much ... if I do remember them, it's usually because something particularly bad happened in them.

My dreams are always weird and usually in a scary way. I kinda dont like remembering them for that reason.

The dreams I have are usually linked to my desires and the next day's events. For instance, last night, actually, I had a dream about Bulbagarden moderators, and Master Mew got modded the next day. ._.

Ive had dreams like that as well however the things usually happen in an extremely strange way that makes no sense._. I seem to only remember the strangest/most frightening ones.

I only remember the depressing ones. Probably because I always wake up deeply depressed when that happens.

I just googled my name. Apparently there is a USMC Brigadier General with the same name as me. None of the results were me though, including image, so that's a good thing.

I've Googled my name a few times. As far as I can see I'm the only one named what I'm named, which is pretty cool I guess. I found a few members of my family though, my last name is pretty uncommon, and no pictures of myself. There's a picture if you google my sister's name though, oh joy.

Before I started getting harassed online by creeps for commenting on a feminist blog they didn't like, most of my Google results (for my full name) were old ladies' obituaries. That's what happens when your name was the 8th most popular girls' name in 1900... And a lot of results for women who use their middle names, since Rose is way way WAY more common as a middle name these days than as a first name. (Like, I actually have a friend whose first name is my middle name and her middle name is Rose, so we joke about how we were destined to be friends.)

And actually, those creepy results are getting buried now, so it's more old ladies' obituaries. And stuff that is actually about me. :)

Haha, that's pretty funny, Rose is my middle name. xP I wish my first name was my middle name though, Rose Molly sounds nicer than Molly Rose in my opinion. :c

Aww, I like the name Molly. :)

But you wouldn't believe how many people have said to me or my mom, TO OUR FACES, something like "well Rose is nice for a middle name, but I'd never use it for a FIRST name." Like, who says that shit to someone about their name? And Rose is awesome no matter where in the name it's placed. THORNY FLOWERS UNITE!

Thanks! I'd probably like it more if it had a significant meaning, but it's just a pet form of Mary, so it just means the same, "bitter". .-.;; It's also super common where I'm from, so you know, not too unique. :c

But that's terrible! Even if you're not a fan of the name yourself, telling someone you dislike their name or telling their name would be better off somewhere else is just plain rude. But yes, thorny flowers rule.

My mom tried to give me an uncommon name. She failed gloriously by naming me Emily. Yet she wonders why I want to go by Zima...

I love the name Emily, it's really pretty! One of my best friends in primary school was called Emily, so I kinda have fond memories of the name. Emily is pretty uncommon over here, actually.

Speaking of thorny flowers, my AIM username in high school (I mean, it's still my AIM username, but I never use AIM anymore) was "flowerwthorns."

I'd always have some friend who was really pretentious who would be like "omg DUUUUUUDE that's from a song right? dark and EMO and deep! what song lyric is that?"

And I'd look at them like:

skinscassieblink.gif

(Fun fact: I also had a "friend" in high school whose Xanga or MySpace username - this was in the pre-tumblr days when those sites were all the rage - was something like "XxXbleedsINDIEtearsXxX" She also thought my AIM username was from an emo band, even though I always evaded her constant attempts to get me to listen to the terrible music she liked.)

I would probably like my name more if it weren't so damn common in the U.S....

My stepsister's name is Emily! Her name was also a case of her parents not realizing that it was as common as it was.

I think I know about ... two Emilys? I have a cousin named Emily who lives over in Ireland, and an upperclassman of mine who went to a club with me once is called Emily. So yeah, I only know two, it really isn't that common over here.

I think the most common names for girls in Wales is Seren. God, I love that name.
