Even if I did have more CDs it's not like I could listen to them, my laptop has no audio drive and the only CD player in the house is located in the living room, where my family is usually watching TV.

God, that must be bad, I don't think I'd be able to live without having my music 24/7! :c Are you going to buy new ear buds one day?

I will probably have to. I can just get a cheap pair or a couple pairs at Target or something.

Sounds like a good idea. I've broken countless ear buds and headphones throughout my time. :c My favourite pair, black Blue Banana ones, broke the other day and I had to buy new ones. The new ones are Skullcandy though, so all is well. -w-

I got a pair of in-ear earphones not long ago. They're great sounding :D They're white with a little red.

I'd probably own more pairs of in-ear earbuds, but I don't like the feeling of them in my ear. Headphones are my kinda deal.

In fact one of those pairs of Apple earbuds is why my computer's sound is broken.Part is stuck in the headphone jack and I can't get it out. The Apple store expects me to fix this myself because they dont want to pay if something goes wrong with my computer. I tried fixing it how they said to and it did not work.

I'm pretty sure you could do a long, detailed anthropological study of my history with headphones and earbuds, the ones I've broken and the ones my cats have broken...

I'm pretty sure it's part and parcel of being a music nerd. We go through those like normal people go through underwear. Unless you buy the really fancy, expensive ones, but that seems like way too much to spend when the sound quality on the cheap ones is still pretty good, and that's to my fancy music-school-educated ears.

I had to sit on the bus to someone with earphones who's music was loud enough I'm pretty sure the entire back of the bus was able to enjoy his music. I really hope he permanently damages his hearing with listening to music at that volume.

People have told me I listen to music too loud so I'm not really going to comment on that. xD It's probably the cause of my intensely bad hearing too, I never listened to any warnings that listening to music on 100% volume would damage your hearing ... and it does. Terribly so.

That's a pretty sadistic hope. Maybe he just wanted to spread the joy. I always listen to music as loud as I can, as long as the family isn't around. If they are and they walk in my room, I don't hear them coming and get a fright. I'm a toss up between an old frightened woman, and a music blasting youth.

I sometimes use it to drown out other sounds. Like people arguing in my house >.>
Sometimes I use it to drown out things I'm thinking, too. If I'm thinking something unpleasant then putting music on loud usually helps. Is that weird?

I don't always listen to music, but when I do it's loud and I sing along. I don't use headphones ever.

Lucky, I have no choice but to use headphones. My family are always at home so I can't play music loud. I also can't sing along because urgh, my singing voice.
