It says you don't have much else.

I play basketball, sure I can't do some stuff that guys do but I try to do the basics right.

I've never actually watched a game of basketball, it's not that big over here in the UK. We did it as a subject in P.E for awhile but I was absolutely terrible at it. I dribble the ball too high. But maybe I should watch a match sometime, I'd be lying if I said it didn't look like an interesting sport.

We were doing "communities we belong in" in R.E today. Does it say anything about my spare time that I wrote: "Tumblr, BMGf and BMGf Conversational Chat Thread"? :p
It's funny how American sports just don't do well over here. Baseball, basketball, handegg, they just don't get the audience.

Well, it is a community, I don't think it's a bad thing just because its online.

Well, I guess it'd be easier for males since they're generally taller, and that helps with basketball. Not to say girls can't be taller than men, of course.

I'm my school's team captain for baseball, but I've never even heard of handegg. Kinda sounds like rugby, which I'm pretty sure isn't very popular over the pond, right?

Yeah, everyone here is like family anyway.

Lucky you. When we did basketball last term it was mixed-gender, which kinda defied its purpose by not really being fair. I mean, obviously they didn't want to do separate genders playing different games because some people might complain, but when mixed-gender High School kids play basketball it can all go a bit awry.

XD handegg is a colloquial term for American football.

Yeah, it's based on the fact that the ball looks more like an egg and there's very little actual kicking involved.

I'm an American and I barely understand American football. Much prefer the game the rest of the world calls football. I only started to care about the NFL this past year because my favorite team (the Baltimore Ravens) won the Super Bowl.

Don't tell my mom that, though. She's a fierce, FIERCE University of Michigan football fan. (And she knows a lot about the game. It's actually really fun to watch her get in discussions/debates with douchey guys who think that a woman can't possibly know more than them about a "MAN'S GAME," and watch her hand them their asses.)

... Well now I feel stupid. xD

I've never understood American Football, but since I've never participated in a game nor watched it I'm not going to bash it. I don't even know the rules. Or how you score a goal.

Haha, I've played it before a couple times, but I prefer tennis. I like the noise of the ball hitting the bat. Thwonk!

And suddenly you've reminded me of our old tennis matches in primary. God, the noise that the ball makes when it hits the bat is oddly satisfying, isn't it? I had one of those things with a rope and a pole with a ball attached to the end of the rope where you'd repeatedly hit the ball, but I can't remember the name of it. Swing something? I'm not too good at tennis eith--- Can we just assume I'm good at no sport except baseball? xD

I'm bad at all sports. When I was in school I used to choose table tennis and I even sucked at that xD

There is literally a bottle of champagne on the table in this class.

I mean, I know there was a reception in here just a few minutes ago, but it really feels like an "only in grad school" moment.

I'd much rather be reading, watching something, writing, drawing, or playing video games than sports. Pickle Ball and badminton aren't bad, along with a few others. I try to enjoy all sports when I have to play them, though.

I also have a feeling our system isn't really working :/, we aren't go left nor are we going right we are going back. The only thing a government has to do is to copy past things from other countries that excel at these points. Lol that is maybe a bit to crude but whatever.

Lol that sounds like something the PVV would totally use as its next slogan x) It still beats a two-party system if you ask me, better to have a lot of choice and just have them compromise than for half of the population to end up not being listened to. The Netherlands has been a land of compromises since its independence after all, poldermodel and all that.

Meh the PVV are just a bunch of 'roeptoeters', but yeah or system is good but I doubt that it is the most efficient way of decision making.

Well whatever everthing has it's pros and cons

I think being thin makes you lazier than if you're fat, because you just don't exercise because you don't think you need to.

I'm thin, but I can barely run. I've been beaten by larger people.

I used to always come last in races that included people with all body types. Now I don't compete with anyone but I'd probably still lose. I can run incredibly fast for like ten seconds, then my body just dies. Maybe I need to pace myself more. I never find myself in situations where running is necessary, so I don't worry about it.

I tend to forget to breathe at first when running, which is very stupid and makes me go out of breath quickly unless I actively remember to breathe.

I remember in Ferbruary, they were having some sports event at my school. I was playing Pokemon as usual, but I came outside and was immediately rushed into a 7 and a half lap race. I came in dead last, but everyone was cheering for me because I participated.

I smelled blood when I was done racing.
