I kinda miss the days when I had fish and had to clean their tank. Is it weird that I found it calming?

I wouldn't mind having a fish swimming around in my small place, but knowing me, it wouldn't have worked out well for the fish. Not that I wouldn't care for it, it's just that I tend to forget things like that. I'm a bit amazed my little palm in my window haven't died yet.

Also, all the stress of finding someone to take care of it when I'm away and all that, it would never have worked.

Got a bunch of exams coming up, starting on Thursday with C++. Have spent the weekend reading on geometry, and found to my pleasure that the lecturer we have like to recycle a lot of the proofs on the exams over the years.

I used to have a goldfish that lived for over 6 years and grew to be huge. I forgot what we called but it was most likely "Goldy". Ever since then all attempts at fish failed.

The longest Ive kept a goldfish alive was 2 years, same with a betta fish, though my last fish lived only 6 months :/

We had an aquarium back home. Can't remember when we got it, but one of the fish lasted the entire lifetime of that aquarium. Must have been, what, 10 years? We actually got two of the same fish the day we bought the aquarium. The other died the day we got him, think he got sucked into the pump or something.

I wish I had fish. Every time we try to own some they never last long... I wonder why that is. :(

Oh back when I had a pond my parents bought me a goldfish, I named him captain falcon and he lasted for 2 years before a giant-ass bird ate it.

Just came back from a MLS game, and it rocked!

The longest a goldfish of mine has ever lived is 7 years. Which is good. I cleaned out the tank. Took me ages, the level of moss was ridiculous and it smelt really bad. Glad that's over with. Now fingers crossed it doesn't come back for a long time.

I love watching my fish, it is calming and they have their own little personality traits. I wanna breed some but my tank size wont allow it.

Sometimes I wonder if fish are the stupidest creatures alive. They are content with living such sedentary lives. They literally do nothing and are content.

I had a goldfish that tried to escape once though. We came home one day and it was on the ground about 5 feet from the tank. That was only smart fish I ever encountered, but it died shortly after.

Ive noticed Bettas are kind of lazy but my sister had one once that would like freak out everytime someone looked at him, it was kinda funny. I guess seeing someone was interesting to him. Goldfish I notice tend to swim a lot of the time. Now I want a fish :c I like watching them. I dont think I can get one though.

That could be half of the animals in the animal kingdom.

I think I hate BB code now. And its not allowing image maps. I make an image with a bunch of links inside of it, and I have to cut it into a bunch of different pieces, since each link has to be its own image in BB code. Never again.
