Got a new monitor for my computer. <3

Cool. Is it a lot bigger than the old one?
It's more of wider than bigger. Actually I think by definite square area, it should be similar. However its resolution is 1600 X 900, so it's become more easier for me to handle multiple windows at once.

Yeah I meant wider. But that's good then. Bigger than my current screen x)

Been a while since I last posted (yes, school, school :/).

At least you're posting now. ^^ When does summer vacation start for you?

Summer vacation starts in the late June. After the student teacher month, I had to finish assignments that served to replace my midterms (as I can't take midterms when I'm working at a middle school) so that's what kept me busy. After finishing them, things became less stressful so I have some more time to enjoy internet.

How are you doing?

Oh cool. Personally my first exam starts next tuesday, while I also have a paper due in two weeks so I'll have to study hard for the next three weeks, but after that I will be able to enjoy my freedom~
Wow, your summer vacation starts early. For one year, how many months do vacations take up in Netherlands generally? 0_o

Summer vacation hasn't actually started yet by then, but unless I have to resit exams I won't have to do anything. It's actually not that early though, most people on bulba I've talked to about are done with their exams before me.

I do have one. What I do not have is a playstation 2, meaning I can't play kingdom hearts because my pc can't emulate one. And I think they're about as powerful. I don't want to watch an lp for that either, so that's my dilemma.
Oh I see. That's a dilemma I face sometimes for some of the 3DS games, like I think 'I could get a 3DS later' but another side thinks 'but what are the chances of that happening'. x)

Aw, I really hope your parents will let you have a 3DS in the summer. They shouldn't be able to use the schoolwork argument then, right?

I don't think the World Cup would work every year, part of what makes it awesome is the fact you have a lot of tension and excitement built up over the course of time it takes to come back around. Or, at least, that's how I view it personally.
Plus, it'd be quite costly to host it every year. There are some countries who are prepared to host those big tournaments if given the chance, but every year sounds too much. Also those preliminary rounds, they can be actually fun to keep track of. Like, oh wow, next year is a World Cup year and I'm anticipating it. (I can't believe that it would be four years already since that last World Cup then, last one was really awesome.)

The last worldcup sure beat the last eurocup for me at least xD

Why don't you participate in one of those TV game shows to win money?

Who wants to buy me a $100 train ticket for my Jeopardy! audition in New York this Monday?

No such money is had by me. :(

@Dirk; FINLAND!!! <3 My mom's mom's side of the family is from Finland. Finland is awesome.

@Mintaka; Thanks for mentioning that about Korean Wiis. I've been wondering where your accent was from since that Christmas video the mods made. Quest complete!

What size is your current monitor? Mine is 21 inches, baby!

I didn't need to deliver that like Austin Powers but anyway, it's not HD so I would like an upgrade. Fine with the size but it has a broken pixel.

How does Eurovision work? Like, they only sing one song the whole time. How do they make each round different? stereotypical American ignorance

My mom bought it for me, you guys. I was just trolling.

@H-con; I like your response, though.

I am way too tired and drunk for someone with an article to finish. I put on too much perfume and I think even the fumes from that are making me drunk. Jesus Christ.

I see. That's interesting, because here schools tend to have their finals close to the vacations as much as they can since students tend not to concentrate in classes if they already took their exam for the semester. xD

More like winter, because here schools start in Spring. There are some hopes though, as my dad said that we would likely visit Europe sometime next year as he has some friends there. (And anytime next year, my graduation stuff would have been finished.)

Practice makes perfect, and the multi-quote button makes the job much easier. (Though all the quote tags can make it confusing when typing up the post.)

LOL. Yes, I'm Korean, so there you go. x)

I recall reading that perfumes consist of a rather high ratio of alcohol (like 40% at least), so putting too much perfume could make people drunk xD

They filmed the Hoth scenes in your country apparently. I'm going to try to see that when I come.

Yeah, though I dunno about how much snow there's left there now.

Actually still a bit, it seems, but I would assume it's melting pretty fast nowadays. We've got some nice weather up here now (around ~20 degrees), and the trees are finally getting green.

Yesterday was our national day, and there's a bunch of action in general (amongst other, several parades). The parade with generally the town's organizations and sport clubs and so on also included the mustache club and the local branch of the 501st legion. Especially Darth Vader was a popular photo object.

I was just trolling.

I'm sorry to inform you, but you're probably the worst troll I've ever seen. 0/10, see me after class.

Not everyone goes to the semi-finals, because some countries get an automatic pass into the final. Britain is one of them. :p But they countries that do compete in the semi-finals differ, and those decide if they get through to the final or not. It isn't the same countries every round. :3

Speaking of Europe, according to this day/night app on my phone, the sun never sets completely in northern parts of Europe this time of year. How do you guys sleep at night?

It doesn't? Huh. I'd say it's perfectly dark at night. I sleep like a babe. .___.

Wait, Britain isn't really in the north, is it ...

Oh, didn't know that. That's interesting. Well let's hope for that then. ^^

According the app, most of northern Europe is in "astronomical twilight" "civil twilight" or "nautical twilight". all night. I never really checked Wales, but I think you guys get real night.
