I kind of feel obligated to mention Guildmaster Wigglytuff, even though he's not a human. He's a really cool character in my opinion.

I liked the concept of N capturing and releasing Pokemon in his battles with the player. I don't care for his story really though, but as H-Con said, I also don't play pokemon for the story. It's all about the wee beasties caught in balls.

I think I like all the rivals, except for May/Brendan. Not crazy about Bianca or Hugh either, though I don't dislike them.
Hugh, ok, he was a bit funny at first but he gets increasingly annoying as the game progresses in B2/W2 or at least in my experience.

There's a small fire outside in a dumpster. Some brilliant people probably thought it was a great idea to put a hot one time use grill in it or something. It's the third or fourth time it's happened in May. Why are people so stupid that they put very hot things into closed spaces with flammable objects?

In any case, I like Hugh's battle theme. Indifferent towards him, I agree that he has a pretty bad motive.

Hugh has a somewhat stupid motive, imo.

Considering how young his sister is, I'm pretty sure she does not remember a Purrloin stolen 7 years prior. Plus, how the fuck does he get a starter egg that is conveniently superior to your type?

Science may never find the cause of stupidity.

I like the majority of battle themes in Pokemon. And yeah, adding to what @Jolene; said, I also found it dumb why it seemed to be the only thing he cared about. He wants the cat back, I get it. But Team Plasma kind of, oh, I dunno, threatens the state of the world? I'd say that's a little more important then some cat.

This is Pokémon you're talking about :I

we take our pogemans srsly

Hugh, while not my favorite rival, had the best rival battle theme imo. So good.

Hugh was okay, I guess. His battle music was awesome but as a character he was a bit ... uh, annoying. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Barry is the best rival. Ever. Of All Time.

Grrrrrr why can't I write this article.
Writer's block sure does suck. I've got it at the moment too, damned English homework is getting nowhere.

Guess who got retainers today?

I thought retainers were meant to hold teeth in place after they were moved. Don't you mean braces? That's what you posted on Facebook.

Nitpicking aside, that's pretty horrible. I h8ed having braces...

I mean braces as in, they're removable, not train-track braces. My orthodontist kept calling them retainers, at any rate. They really hurt, tbh. I just tried taking them out to brush my teeth and my jaw feels ... off.

I still wonder if you actually need them or if they're just ripping you off for the money. They'll straighten your teeth, no doubt, but I don't think that's worth it for a lot of people that get braces. Not going off any specific data, it's just how I feel, I could be wrong. I doubt I am, though.

Uh, I don't have to pay for my braces. I'm in Britain, the NHS pays for my braces. ^^;; And they aren't for straightening my teeth, either, they're for reducing my overbite.

So if I cosplay for Otakon and go the FMA route, I'm now thinking more along the lines of 03 Sloth rather than Lust, because a strapless dress sounds like a huge pain in the ass. Sloth's dress has straps, at least. Besides, I'm the world's biggest lazy-ass, I should go with the sin that fits me best.

Plus maybe I can find some way to work in her water powers into my costume.

You guys are so damn lucky.

The United States needs to learn a thing or two from other countries... :/ In Canada, going to the hospital is free.

Yet another reason to leave this country.

Taxpayer-funded health care, fuck yeah!

Seriously though, I just couldn't imagine living with constant worries of healthcare debt as many do in the US. The NHS does, of course, have its flaws but its generally a great public service.
