Once you get a 3DS be sure to tell me so we can add each other :3
Got it! And I added you already. Mine FC is 0962-9814-5921. (And in the time it's taken me to write this, you've already read my blog and done the same. xD;)

If anyone else wants to add me, feel free!

It would be awesome if tons of us just got into one town!
Too bad it's limited to four people per town including the host :/
waaah that sucks. :I

I don't know. I've never seen it myself. When I googled them, they look pretty different. Definitely not the kind of thing you sign up for when you get an axolotl

Hmm, I still might consider getting one if it stayed relatively small even as an adult.

I've just found a number five for my favorite animals. I think once I find a sixth I'm going to stop listing my favorite animals, that way it will be like I have a pokemon team. Actually maybe I'll make a pokemon team to represent my top six favorite animals...
That's a neat idea. Have you made any progress on it?

I don't think I could limit myself to just six, although...

There are probably way too many animals for me to pick just five, but if I had to choose, I'd say cats, wolves, seals, sloths and tigers. I tend to like animals that are cute or majestic, or ones that interest me by how they've adapted to their climate.
I like all the ones listed here. :3c

I don't even want the Wii U. So far, there are no games set for it that I'm looking forward to (unless the new Smash Bros is for it, that is) and the controller looks ... odd. Knowing me, I'll probably end up buying it anyway, but it's not something I'm in any hurry to buy.
get zombiu you'll have a blast

Or so I've been told.

Eeveelution discussion? Espeon is my favourite with Leafeon ranking second and Flareon ranking third.
KM's Eeveelution Ranking (based mostly on aesthetics):

  1. Jolteon ( @Stahl Spreading the Jolteon love. :D)
  2. Espeon
  3. Vaporeon
  4. Umbreon
  5. Leafeon
  6. Flareon
  7. Glaceon
  8. Sylveon

I like all of them though, just to varying degrees. I've never used Leafeon outside of getting one for my Pokédex and have only used a Glaceon in Conquest.

I actually have but I used Umbreon all the time instead and replaced Espeon with something else eventually(probably a Shadow Pokemon)
Oh, I actually prefered using Espeon. It could usually ohko stuff with psychic while Umbreon was hardly able to with it's strongest attack being faint attack.
Made it perfect for whittling down the Shadow Pokémon's health while Espeon would handle the other Pokémon on the battlefield. :3

So, I just became a Trainee mod somewhere else. I feel pretty happy about that.
Belated congrats!

I still haven't played B/W 2. I wonder if I ever will haha
Blasphemy!
And we already covered in our VM convo that I still have to start it myself. :sweatlol: Either today or tomorrow.

Banning drugs doesn't prevent addicts from getting them, so making food more expensive would just open up a cheap food black market.

Yeah, but its still a problem that we need to fight, and i'm pretty sure there's other ways then discrimination. Maybe it should be illegal to eat anything outside your amount of calories recommended?
Infringes on our inalienable rights. How about fat people eat less and go jogging?

Maybe food should be super expensive, but only for fat people. Like after you way over a certain amount, food just starts getting more expensive, and the heavier you get the higher the price goes. That would solve every problem ever.

That's discrimination bro. If we did that. then other business would do that. It's also mean, its a problem people have, like smoking or drinking and the media doesn't help either.

Why shouldn't they be discriminated against if they are the ones with the problem that is trying to be solved?

I am more concerned about how uninformed and ignorant the vast majority of Americans are than the size of their waistlines. It really saddens me.

You are the one coming up with discriminatory solutions to obesity.

How?

Because that's mean? I think we should do what we did with the tobacco problem, we should just make it uncool to eat unhealthy food. Where in America we do the opposite, we make unhealthy food cheap and healthy food expensive. Let's say you're poor, you obviously won't really have the healthiest food around, and you depending on the person might not have "time" to exercise. If for example healthy food was cheap, then ladies and gentlemen we'd have a different story.

Why not let people make their own choices and live with the consequences? The key here is education and awareness - make sure that people know, from an early age, that certain habits will result in not only a shorter life, but a lower quality of life as well. If they choose to smoke, or do drugs, or eat sugar, or bang their heads against brick walls, then who cares so long as it doesn't hurt anyone else? I say let them make their own bed and sleep in it.

As far as actually fixing the problem..

I agree that the price and availability of healthy foods is an issue (especially the subsidization of certain agricultural products) and taking steps to correct this will go a long way to help national health. This needs to be paired with education, though, or else the demand for cheap and unhealthy food products will continue.

At root, the problem is the throwaway mentality that many in the US (and indeed the world) have adopted - cheap, disposable products tend to be preferred over more durable and expensive ones. This philosophy is pervasive and even seems prevalent with semi-permanent fixtures such as automobiles, residences, and tools. This applies to food as well, and really does reflect the "I want it all, I want it now" motif found in the worldwide consumerist markets.

This problem is anything but superficial, and reflects a long-standing trend which needs to first be addressed before applying any sort of practical solutions.

Also, N ( Pokemon character) is the first result when you search "N" on Google. He officially owns 1/26th of the alphabet.
LOL. That's awesome. He's an important letter. It would take a lot of work to remove him from daily speech and typing. :p
I wanted to post something without using it but when I tried to think of stuff it became really hard.
Soulmaster you so cray-cray to try

I still wonder if you actually need them or if they're just ripping you off for the money. They'll straighten your teeth, no doubt, but I don't think that's worth it for a lot of people that get braces. Not going off any specific data, it's just how I feel, I could be wrong. I doubt I am, though.
On the reverse side of things, I remember reading somewhere that people were having surgery done to purposely fuck up their teeth because they thought it was more cute.

Not to bring up the spiders' rights debate again but how would ya'll deal with this?
BLcAp91CIAAhrnl.jpg:large

I'd surrender and abandon the house.
Sounds like the best course of action, at least temporarily.

Also, Kakuna Matata just liked one of my posts from May 24. I sense a wall post incoming.
Split it in two, but still very astute of you. xD

Because people take advantage of it and do it anyway, and also because it does hurt other people. High obesity rates mean high heart disease rates, which means higher health insurance premiums for EVERYONE, not just them. Here in Norway there is a 25% tax on food. Because of that, they have much lower obesity rates, which makes it much more possible for their universal healthcare to work.

Not in Norway from what I've observed. They are pretty crazy about recycling here.

If you like Norway so much, then why don't you stay there?

I would like to. I need a job first.

U mad?

I wouldn't blame him. You're being pretty narrow minded. Obesity isn't just a case of 'I'm greedy', it's linked to genetic, emotional and physical limitations. It's not something to be taken lightly.

Why shouldn't they be discriminated against if they are the ones with the problem that is trying to be solved?

Nobody should be discriminated against and the problem can't be solved in one solution. Everybody's weight loss process would be different :I

Don't be insensitive, bro.

Aww, but how else will we learn if we don't address conflicting opinions on important issues?

Because people take advantage of it and do it anyway, and also because it does hurt other people. I accept your premise, and agree with your behavioral predictions. One of my major failings is not considering personal monetary costs. My opinion on this particular issue, and how best to address it, comes mostly from an abhorrence of any policy that restricts individual choice. Let's talk about how awesome fjords are.

Thanks :)

No! Yeah, I don't think this was going to let up anytime soon. xD
