I hate the name Fairy type. It's too prissy. Why must such prissyness be superior to Dragons? The only advantage I see in this is trolling prepubescent boys in online battles.

On the Wii Fit Trainer thing, I feel like she may be for SSBU/3D what Olimar was for Brawl, which is that everyone will hate her, except for people who are good with her, and those people will completely destroy everything
...people hate Olimar?

1998? God, some of you are so young.

Anyway, what with all those fairy-ish Pokémon in the Normal type that seemed to have their own set of moves, like Clefairy or Jigglypuff, I'd been worried why they hadn't added a "Fairy" type for a while.

Still, I wish they'd fill out the existing types with Eevolutions first.

ETA: So my signature no longer likes the image that was there? For shame! Who doesn't love Sally Bowles?

They still could fill up the rest of the types with Eeveelutions, it just will take longer.

Is 18 like middle ground between old and young here?

Pokémon knows no age. The ones who lose out are the ones who believe the narrative that you can be too old for Pokémon.

Oh yeah, and why exactly does MARILL get Fairy typing? It's not even fairy-y.

Fairy egg group would be my assumption.

Maybe this means Azurill is Normal/Fairy and Azumarill is Water/Fairy.
