My mom is somewhat of a health freak, but I don't really care how healthy a food is. Whenever I work a late shift at work my "dinner" is literally a candy bar, a bag of chips, and a soda. Or something of a similar nature, the point is that I will eat pretty much anything lol.

I'm the same way (about eating anything), and it's not like there isn't organic grocery stores in America. I live just a few blocks from one, actually.

I like to compare myself to a Swalot in what I will eat and how fast I will eat it. Mostly because Swalot is one of my favorite Pokemon, but the comparison is still accurate.

I can normally down a full dinner (e.g Steak, potatoes, roll, vegetables) in under 5 minutes. That's when I'm not trying.
If I set myself on a timer, I can eat in almost half that time.
Luckily for me, I have a great metabolism, which means I don't gain any extra weight.

...under five minutes? Hmm...that's pretty bloody fast, you may be the first person I've met who can compare with my eating speed (not that I know everyone's eating speed, of course). I don't know my specific time, but it's probably pretty close.

Yeah, I don't remember the last time I finished dinner last. I always start last and finish first. My bro in law is always telling me "did you taste that?"
I'm thinking of joining some competitive eating competitions. I have much more training to do, though.

From what I know of those, I think competitive eating is way out of my league. Aside from maybe amateur contests. The competitors often have to enlarge their stomachs (meaning that, somewhat ironically, the skinnier people can eat more since their stomach can take up more room). The rate in which they eat food has to be really high, and they'll often do things like dunk bready products in water so they can get it down easier. I'm not interested, personally, but you can look into it more if you really want.

I think I eat too little if anything, and my parents are starting to get angry with how quickly I'm losing weight. I still have a massive appetite, don't get me wrong, I just have good self-control.

Dinner takes me 2-3 minutes, but I'm not sure if I'm "trying" or not when I eat it.

As for how fast I eat... maybe about 10 minutes. I take a long time to chew my food because it fills me up quicker and I won't have to eat much. I'm probably the slowest eater in my family.

Also, eating contests make me uncomfortable.

I tend to eat kinda slow, especially when not really hungry. I guess it keeps me from getting stomach aches.

I don;t eat a lot of food, I just don't like to eat large meals.

Is it just me, or are the topics being discussed in this thread a lot less interesting than they used to be?

I don't really know, there's been a lot of topics, I haven't noticed much of a pattern.

Well, take it like you'd take a conversation away from the keyboard. Sometimes you can have very exciting conversations, sometimes they're laid-back and calm. I guess we've just been more of the latter lately.
