There is a difference between "calm" and "uninteresting."
Well, here's a topic, is anyone interested in any of the films out in the cinema at the moment? I'm going to see Despicable Me 2 tomorrow, and I'm sure there's something coming out soon that I'm desperate to see.
New topic: Independence Day
Info. The aliens are coming and their goal is to invade and destroy. Fighting superior technology, Man's best weapon is the will to survive.
Is it just me, or are the topics being discussed in this thread a lot less interesting than they used to be?
Exactly what I was going to say.
I don't think I've ever seen the Will Smith film Independence Day. Gee, I feel like there are so many films everyone here likes that I've never watched. xD What's the plot?
And also, Independence Day in general... I have no opinion on it, 'cuz I'm not American. xD
Eh, it's honestly not that good. Just sayin

Also independence day is terrible and I would rank it among the worst movies I've ever seen.

Why?
While there are very few original movies these days, I think it's always been like that. We just don't think about the crappy movies of old because no one remembers them. We just remember the classics and the ones that did well. We still have good movies today, like Django Unchained, Inception, etc.
I don't think I'm going to see WWZ, it didn't look super interesting. Last movie I saw in theaters was Man of Steel which was horrible, but at least I had fun talking with my friend about how bad it was.
What really adds salt to the wound is the fact they're remaking half of the old classics, which they fail miserably at by the way.
