Florida has a lot of towns with native names to balance it out, too. Sarasota, Pensacola, Okeechobee, Tampa... I like those names more, seeing as they were here first and all.

English... It has lots of words and rules...
 
Some people see lots of words. I see a rich and expansive vocabulary and many options to use in my writing and speech. Too bad most people are too simple to utilize all these words.

After I realized I was too old to become fluent in any other languages, I decided to be as good as i damn well could in the only one I know.

I like English's relatively large number of synonyms, don't get me wrong, but the pronunciation is not pleasing to my ears. French is a much more logical language, if you ask me. Except for nouns having gender. That's dumb.
