I don't think Nintendo's #1 objective is to make sure your wants are met, Mijzelffan.

Nintendo's #1 and only pokémon-related objective is publishing the games. Game Freak and the pokémon company are the ones who goes about this stuff, being the creators and all.

Well it should be. Why would they program it in if they weren't ever planning on releasing it? It's like they want to let people down.

Then GF is probably too busy developing their other projects, not giving them enough time to advertise certain key items. I wouldn't bother not getting the locked capsule since the TM is mediocre in terms of strength.

Sometimes I think they change their minds as well like what happened with the Azure Flute. They just chose to release Arceus itself instead. I figure the same thing happened with the Lock Capsule.

It's these type of arguments on why Pokemon Gen V deserves to be underrated, because people have way too much expectations with these little things.

Not as far as I have seen (at least not too much), but you could have a point. I wonder what kind of fans do that...

At any rate, I'm wondering if I should dump the rest of the random anime artwork along in the pokémon artwork folder, seeing that the folder it's in now is really random and unsuited. Ahh, decisions, decisions!

Then they could at least release something that unlocks it in-game without the relocator.

It just seems kinda pointless to make something and program it in and then just not release it. I don't know why Game Freak does that.

I just realised that since I can RNG in White, I can probably also RNG in Sapphire. Meaning I can RNG a potent team for the battle tower. And then maybe I can finally get the gold trainer card I've always wanted.

I never really understood RNGing.

You should be proud of that fact.

No she shouldn't. It's super easy to understand. The game uses a predetermined system of what will be encountered at what time. RNG'ing is finding the pokémon you want by going to the exact times they're found on. It's basically that.

Look up the guides. You gave me a watered-down version of it.

I know the guides, they recently taught me to RNG. But allright, here is what you do. You start up the game and note the time at which it booted to the second. Then you catch a pokémon without moving on a route without moving npc's, by using sweet scent. Take that pokémon's IV's and nature and fill it in in RNG reporter and it'll fill in your game's data. With this data filled in you can ask RNG reporter to look up pokémon for you, for instance with perfect IV's, which will give you a time to the second. Make sure the frame is 1. Change your ds'es clock to minute and wait for the exact second to boot your game (actually boot it one second earlier then that, the start up animation after you click A takes another second). Sweet Scent again and the pokémon you encounter will have the IV's you requested. In order to get the nature you want you can use a synchronizer.

That's all there's to it. Of course it can become a little more complicated when you also want to decide the nature and ability yourself, but RNG'ing can be easily done without that part (I caught my perfect IV Virizion using this). Also should you only be able to get frames higher than 1, walking 128 steps increases your game's frame (which always starts at 1) by 1, but you have to make sure you don't encounter wild pokémon while walking.

Seems pretty complicated. RNG is hard, yo.

Psst, I'm just ruffling your feathers. Don't take my posts too literal. AKA, I'm very bored.
