What is it about?

It's a tall and slender entity who wears a black suit, stretches tentacles, and has a blank face. According to legend, those who see it will be driven to insanity and paranoia until he gets him. His presence also messes with video tapes, causing statics, when he's nearby.

Well, yeah. I haven't heard of it before, so I thought it was a game.

I'd rather have some more robotic Pokemon, as well as an Electric/Fighting type.

Hey guys.

Don't you hate it when you think you're really hungry then you start eating and you realize you're not hungry at all?

And when you go to do something for a second, and then when you get there, you immediatly forget why you're there.

And when you look for something, only to realize you had it all along.

And when you put something down, you forgot where you put it 1 minute ago.

I decided to rebuy Sim City IV, because it's pretty fun to play, and I've lost one of the disks for the original game, so I can't re-install it from that. Not that it really matters, it wasn't expensive, and it was pretty much one of the last good games from Maxis anyways (or at least one of the few games that didn't get run down with expansions, with just one pretty okay one). My guess is that the new Sim City will be shit, so I'm not getting that.

Now to load in the mods I have on my previous computer, maybe even export the better region I have as well... And hope it actually works on my computer, with a newer OS. Shouldn't be a problem tho.

That happens because when you go through a doorway, it signals to your mind the beginning of a new episode. Your mind likes to discretize events so it doesn't get overwhelmed with a constant stream of information, and stepping through a door into another room often signals the end of one episode and the beginning of another to your subconscious. That's why you forget things like that sometimes, because your mind is kind of starting fresh.

Yeah, Maxis pretty much sucks now that it's a puppet of EA. Spore was the most disappointing thing since Star Wars Episode 1.

True, but the same can be said about Criterion, Westwood and Bioware (and probably others, but that's what I've got now).

Then why did Spore get a lot of praise unlike Episode 1?

Have you even played the game? Because then you would understand. I have, and it was very disappointing, the potential was extremely big, but EA shat all over it, methinks.

That said, Sim City IV is pretty horrible to actually manage to get a city working financially. It's extremely punishing at your every move, balancing the budget. So yeah, I'll probably be loading in the buildings that give you minus 4 billion in expenses just to build the city I want to. That's really what I want. Oh, and some of the transport buildings as well, seeing how trying to make a working transport system in a bug city is like gouging your eyes out with a spoon.

All that aside, it's still loads of fun when I get that massive region with many cities with loads of people in them.

I've seen the gamplay and X-Play's review of it, which they gave it a 5/5, so I don't see how is that a disappointment.
