It doesn't, it should have just been one movie. Peter Jackson just wants more money I guess.

They do that cause they want more money. The third Hunger Games movie is apperently going to be two parts. Cant they just make one.

It depends how long the book. The Deathly Hollows was so thick, they have to split it in two as every event that happened in it was important.

Same for Harry Potter. But I can get why you would turn what should be one movie into two, but three just seems kinda greedy.

I've never read the last Harry Potter book, but half of the last Hunger Games book was just Katniss hiding behind curtains avoiding her duties.

I'm glad. It seems like a good amount of the first part of the last Harry Potter films was just them camping out in the woods though, so I guess it's kind of a similar situation. Not much really happened in the first film except for them going through the video game-esque plot of finding and destroying a bunch of objects.

They did that because they were hiding from Voldemort and had no idea what was a Horcrux though except the locket to begin with.

I know why they did it, but it still didn't make for a very exciting film and I think there were a lot of things that we didn't necessarily have to see.

I stopped watching the Harry Potter films after the fourth one. I guess I just grew out of them.

Exactly. And I like the movies a lot. Good series, it is.

IMO, there are so many better film series. Just off the top of my head;

Toy Story
Godfather
Star Wars
Indiana Jones
James Bond
Dark Knight
A Fistful of Dollars
Whatever Kevin Smith's film series is called.
Terminator
Die Hard
Lord of the Rings

You get the picture.

I think the last movie I saw in the theaters was Megamind - quite some time ago. I can't recall the last movie I saw; I do think I watched one after Megamind but I can't remember exactly. :/
I really liked that movie.

I decided to buy KoToR collection. Could call it an odd choice, seeing I already own both games, but seeing how I only had KoToR II on Xbox (and it's getting a bit slow) and I really want to play it again, with the Restored Content Mod, I just bought it. Also, Deus Ex Human Revolution (because cheap and wynaut?) and an eshop card.

Problem is, what should I actually use my eshop card on. I have no idea.

I bought Borderlands 2 to play with my brother and his roommates. Well, after my brother and I paid off our copies, the other 2 decided they weren't gonna get it.

Oh joy.

Lately, I've been wanting to visit Ohio. It was because I recently found out that I have distant relatives there. I knew some of my relatives lived in America, but I didn't know where. Some of my grandpa's relatives have been living there since the 30s. My grandpa got a few photos from his cousin's son, who lives outside of Cleveland. I was so surprised. Yet I always knew that my grandpa had a big family - his dad had 15 brothers and sisters.

It seems like I have relatives all over. I have relatives back in Lebanon, and some in Brazil as well. There are actually more Lebanese outside of Lebanon than inside - you'll especially notice it with Christian Lebanese, but also Muslim Lebanese too (my family is Muslim).

Has anyone else here got family living in different places?
