Sometimes I feel like just giving up on it, because it's seriously confusing and complicated. But Pyradox loves Homestuck and seems to able to understand it, so that's what keeps me going.

I'm at act 4 out of 6 (and a projected 7) and I'm only now getting a basic idea of what it's all about. It's that confusing.

They say Homestuck gets better as it progresses. I read up to Act 2 and it's interesting.

Well if you don't like it, it's ok. If you like it, that's okay too.

It's a very interesting story, don't get me wrong. But when the kids enter the game (at the end of Act 3), it gets really confusing, mostly becuase it involves that confusing-yet-fascinating-yet-impossible-but-still-pretty-fascinating bane of sci-fi writers everywhere: time travel (DUN DUN DUUUUUN).

The plot is well thought-out and it makes perfect sense when you come to understand it, but the trick is understanding it in the first place. Which is hard. I'm trusting it to explain itself to me later on.

Well if you don't like it, it's ok. If you like it, that's okay too.

I want to understand it, but it's hard to do so. That's basically my problem. I think it's a fascinating story, but I still need to grasp it. Hopefully I can talk about it with Pyra later today. Maybe she can help me get a couple things straight.

Maybe give a short rest :) Whatever works for you.

But you see, I'm painfully slow. This is the first time I've tried making progress on it in about a week. I know Pyra is boiling inside, the little voice inside her head screaming "READ FASTER, JACK, YOU DUMB-ASS".

I'm the same way. I read The Road by Cormac McCarthy in about three days, and I'm almost done with The Postman by David Brin, which I want to say I started in June.

No shame in that :) At least you do read, lots of people nowadays would rather just sit and watch TV all day.

But I want to read faster. ;_;

And I want to comprehend the sheer complexity of Homestuck. ;_;

She's confirmed that, but the main problem is my puny human cognitive abilities.

I've been reading Homestuck. So I feel like my brain is about to explode.
