I am unsure as to the fate of my gameboy. I might have given it away or even thrown it away. Let's just say that I have a hair trigger temper when it comes to these things. [see: like every gameboy descendant I have ever had since then] Yes, it gets a bit misty and makes me long for those days of yore when I see posts of gameboys and pokemon collections on reddit. I quickly get over this.
I still have my gameboy color. I sold my GBA along with Pokemon Blue and Gold for $25 like 10 years ago. My DS still technically works but it has a broken hinge from when I falcon punched it 3 years ago and ever since I dropped it this summer it won't charge so once the battery is done it's done.
The only thing wrong with my first DS Lite is that one of the hinges is broken and the arrow pad's sensitivity is slightly worn. Otherwise it's fine. Buuuut, that's what my second one is for. I should get a third sometime soon just in case though, just so I can keep doing the GBA stuff.
If my DS Lite ever breaks or something, I might get another one, but I dont feel the need to do so now. I mainly use it to play GBA games like Pokemon Emerald, and certain DS games trade/game sync. Im very careful with it so it stays in good condition.
I am with mine too, but my first one has like 7,000 hours on it or something, which is the only reason it has stuff happening to it, and my second has at least 3-4,000. The only reason I'd get another one soon is so that the price doesn't skyrocket like the GBA's. Thankfully it's still at $110.
I have an old DS lite, purely for gameboy games and transferring.
I had a 3DS, but traded it in for a Pikachu edition XL, which I'm not allowed to use until Christmas, as my Mum payed the difference... it doesnt come with a charger, what a rip off!

That's unfortunate. I got my 3DS used from Game Stop and they gave me a crappy Game Stop charger that will only charge if it's positioned in a certain way in the charging port thingy. At first I thought the 3DS had a charging problem, but it works perfectly well when I use a Nintedo charger. It also didn't come with an SD card.
Lol, that's a bit odd. My charger works fine for that, though I heard from someone a while ago that you could only charge it a set number of times. I'm pretty sure I shattered the supposed boundary a long time ago though
