You sure do miss out on a lot of stuff. In the Netherlands.

I know something we don't miss out on. Sinterklaas. You on the contrary have to miss the presents and Sinterklaas candy ^^

And then of course, later that month at Christmas, I receive presents again! ^^

Probably because Netherlands government isn't quite as corrupt as the US government. :p But I wouldn't know.

everyone thinks their country is better than America. ~__~

would you all just put a sock in it? no one really cares but you... :/

I'm really sick of it now. Bulbagarden is a Pokemon forum, and even though there's a social forum, no one should be running around putting down other people's countries no matter what goes on in any of them.

edit: forgot to say, you do not use the :p face at me if you want to stay on my good side.

Isn't Sinterklaas basically the same as Santa Claus?

no, you have to turn it around. Santa claus is basically Sinterklaas. As a matter of fact, Santa Claus was based on Sinterklaas. Dutch Immigrants still continued to celebrate Sinterklaas in America, and eventually it was changed to Santa claus.

yes. I know you all get Christmas presents too. Just saying I get presents twice in december ^^

Go tell TheMissingno. that. Seriously. My country has never been as much insulted as yesterday in this thread.

If someone wants to debate the betterness of their country, there's a Soapbox for that.

well then, why aren't people keeping it to that forum?

From here on out, they should. :|
