Well, tomorrow I find out if I can register for classes or not. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed on this one...

Oh, I meant today.

What! Waited till the middle of winter break to register?

Or are you still a freshman?

I registered for mine way back in October...

Well, I still need to get a loan for $3000, and my parents can't cosign. And classes start on the 20th.

So I'm gonna go see if there are any alternative ways I could maybe pay.

Also, I'm a Junior now; I just finished my Sophomore Year last month.

Well, that explains it. I'm halfway through my junior year and only last semester did I manage to maximize my financial aid. I now get full tuition + full books + an OK meal plan + quite a bit extra...before, I had to pay for books and transportation and tuition overruns out of pocket.

If you have a job, you don't need to worry about cosigners for your loan.

Well, I've tried online, but my job is minimum wage at Wendy's. Which apparently isn't enough.

Well, that's odd. I would imagine that a loan whose repayment period (like most college loans) begins six months after your last semester would be easier to get than, say, a mortgage...

Have you spoken to financial aid and wrung them dry? Have you tried to wring the state dry? (Those grants I've haven't gotten to work yet myself, by the way, all my aid comes from Washington and the school.) Explain your situation? Perhaps if worse comes to worse move back in with your folks and commute--assuming the school's close enough, of course...

This was supposed to be my first day back, but it snowed heavily during the morning that we had a near-whiteout.
I had trouble distinguishing the pavement from the road. ._.

Personally, I wanted to go back, even if it was to just see my friends again.

So, I started a new saving-program today. Took me one minute to establish a new savings-account in the bank (I already have another with roughly 21 000 $), but this one is entirely dedicated for young people that saves money to buy a home, and you can't use the money on anything else than buy a house, which kinda sucks, but it's alright. As all my money is currently locked for a year in the other account, all I could do was to transfer some money I had. One of the best things with this kind of account is that I get a tax refund with it, but then again, I don't have a job, so I don't really pay taxes either...

I've been commuting since Freshman year. And my dad says he's done all he can about FA.

On a side note, finally have access to Photoshop for a little while. Here's the fruits of the last hour or so:
