Which city is that, my good sir?
)

Bergen, to be precise. They are putting in what they call drastic measures, so it's not something that's made up, that's for sure. With warmer weather, some of it might go away, as it's caused by the rather strange weather right now.

lol you do that.

I usually prefer starting my first game on a cartridge with Pokemans I can actually get rather than having to get them them traded over...

Yeah, I want to do that, at first, but there are like no good fire types, for a good long time. And I've got a breeding center all ready to roll...
I will try to at least refrain from trading for the first few towns or so.

Also, @H-Con, it's been snowing every day in January so far here in Ohio. Cold as balls outside.

Yeah, it's on the retreat here too, it has been far too much snow for the season here as well. At our summer house at the sea it was -17 degrees, and that's definitely not usual.

But it hasn't snowed since ... New Years Eve here though, so it will probably melt fast enough.

I think this is the first winter as far as I can remember that I haven't gone sledding. Makes me somewhat sad. Done some skiing though, to make up for it.
Oh well, the winter ain't over yet. For all I know, I could get snow in March or April. It's happened before.
Besides, the road right outside that is perfect for sledding is full of gravel.

By hook or by crook, I will go sledding tomorrow, dammit! Before work.

Ooh- this'd be a great winter to try to find the Devil's Thumb. I miss that epically huge hill...

I remember when I was younger, we always went to a nice hill that's perfect for sledding, and the teachers didn't mind us sledding in the steepest hill.

However, I think in the fourth grade, they suddenly decided it was too steep to let kids under 5th grade sled in it. After we had sled in it for years. They had tested it and found it too steep. Security measures are seriously fucked up at times. Like a principal pouring gravel in a hill to prevent accidents caused by sledding...

I just wish I could find that hill again... Devil's Thumb was in this park, somewhere around downtown Columbus, in a park, right up against a highway, up on a ledge. So it went right down from the road to the bottom of the hill. And it was like three or four stories tall, so you just kept going and going long after you hit the horizontal ground.

Someday I'll find it...

Also, just got done with a little study of the stairs in the house in my comic:

I thought it was a somewhat odd perspective, but I liked it.

Also, good luck in finding that hill of yours.

It started as a doodle on a little yellow lined pad. Then I drew it on a bigger, nicer sheet of paper. I like designs to be very graphic, with sweeping lines and hard angles like that. Plus it's an attempt to make a hallway look not boring.

Sometime I should just post a sketchbook. Seriously, I go through a whole one in like a month now. All full of drawings. It's like an addiction to drawing.
