I was watching となりのトトロ (My Neighbor Totoro).

Nothing really bothered me too much with the subs this time. Though 「ほら」 kept getting translated different based on the situation, but I know now it's because they just used mostly the hearing impaired subs. =3= Some info was missing, such as at the end Satsuki mentions the specific days their mother will come home from and return to the hospital but it wasn't in the subs for likely the same reason as the other stuff. Also, 「お姉ちゃん」 consistantly became "Satsuki" in the subs, which I didn't horribly mind since she is, in essence, saying that. Though I'm fairly certain they weren't saying "dust bunnies" (もくろくろたつけ? Something like that), I couldn't tell exactly what they were calling the soot sprites. It had "kuro" (black) in it twice though, that I remember. xD

I have to remember to talk to my dad about the details in studying abroad. Since I want to do that my junior year, I'll have to apply this coming year! o_o omg it makes me a little nervous, but oh so excited. I hope I can do the full year at Ritsumeikan, but it IS expensive... Dx Hopefully I can find a scholarship too...

I also thought of something to do this summer. I want to go and find a nice diary to write in during the summer. Make myself write something in Japanese in it every day or so, so that I don't forget what I've learned. Maybe I can teach myself some new kanji as well. Maybe aim for the lowest level JLPT?

*looks at the sample questions for the N5*

Whoa, I can read this and I know what it's asking! A few more kanji and vocab would be good (and I do have some kanji books that base around the JLPT), but whoa I could prolly pass N5 with a bit more work. And the tests aren't around the area until december sooo~ :3

*scrolls* omg the picture with number six! xDDD "it is ___ here. I can't study."

/Picture reminded me of my brother playing bass on stage at one of his concerts... Way to go, btw.

Anyhoo, just got new sketchbook.
First sketch, yet another Lila outfit. (Developing a summer outfit series.)

Still just flat colors, will add shading, etc., soon.
