Is Irish fun as a subject? We have 6 lessons of Norwegian a week, and we end our Friday with three of them. That's boring (especially when you're analyzing poems and stuff). Huzzah! And don't get me started about learning grammar for two languages.

No, I didn't catch it. I tried not to hit it, but it ran in front of me and it was pouring rain.

Well, as fun as subjects go. :p
My teacher forces it down our throats, and it's a core subject. But once you can speak it pretty fluently, you start to enjoy it. We have a four a week, it's head-wrecking. ;o We don't analyze poems though, it's sort of like just learning how to speak/write it.

And oh shit, I know what you mean about two sets of grammar. >______>

The Chinese food places (dunno any other word for it), in the Netherlands don't give/sell fortune cookies. Too bad.

Believe it or not, Chinese fortune cookies are actually an American invention.

Re: The Bulbagarden Off-Topic Conversational Thread

^^not really (ok, you can eat there like in a restaurant, but anyway), its mostly about ordering, standing waiting tilll it's ready, and then you take it home in bags. My translation site says its called a "takeaway" in English (not so sure about that tough).

^I have no problems at all believing that xD I've always found it strange we never had them here, but the same goes for HotDogs, cornflakes, and those things mentioned in the "ultimate question" thread. so it makes sense now
