I need to read all the Harry Potter books at some point. I just started Game of Thrones, so I'll be working on that for a while.

I remember reading Chamber of Secrets for the first time because I thought it was the first in the series xD

For a Fighting move you could do Choke Hold, and the effect would be like wrap.

For an Electric move you could to Live Wire, which makes any physical attacks hurt the user for 1/3 of the damage done and it lasts for 5 turns.

For a Flying move, you could do Egg Lay, in which you take one turn to lay eggs and on the following turn it restores your health fully.

For a Grass move, you could do Leaf Shield, which raises the users defense by two stages and its special defense by one.

For a Fire move you could do Flare, which hurts the opponent, burns them, and lets them switch places with a pokemon in the party.

For a Water move, you could do Undercurrent, which forces the opposing pokemon to be "swept away" and switched with a random party member.

Good suggestions. Now I'm left pondering how to best implement moves that last over several turns (seeing how I haven't added that either). Considering that doing various number of turns with sleep went okay, I think I should be able to do that. Not sure about forcing switches though.

That said, the PC box system is working okay now. Not that it's too advanced, but I currently only need to store them in a variable.
