Re: The Bulbagarden Conversational Chat, Vol. 3 (NEW RULES, READ BEFORE POSTING)

I see, well I guess that's alright. I do agree with the thread inactivity thing though, I found that to be probably the dullest thing to even bring up, but that's just me.

I was more worried about generally your own interests being completely ignored all the time due to people generally not giving a fuck. I guess this would have happened regardless, so it's of little matter.

So does this means if the thread is inactive can we bring up a new topic to make it active again?
Of course, we could always do that.

I think the inactivity rule is kind of a step in the right direction actually. I remember back in thread 2 where there'd be nothing but inactivity discussions for several pages.

EDIT: Post above me shows up in my Quotes page, even though I didn't quote it and wasn't quoted. Whaaaaat

@Mintaka one last question, does the rule mean that we can never say "this thread is inactive" again, or is it just against standalone posts?

example 1 said:
Fuck the thread is inactive again.

example 2 said:
Inactive thread is inactive.

Anyway, today I went to an amusementpark with my parents! The rollercoaster there has got to be the awesomest Rollercoaster ever. [etc. etc.]

Adding to Mijzelffan's post, what about "I think I killed the conversation" type posts?

I quoted a post that quoted you, but edited said quote so your quote wasn't in it anymore.

Metaquotes are so confusing.

How about simple posts containing nothing but a greeting?

Of course. If you want to rant about your day, if you want to ask a question, you're free to do so.

The same logic with 'I agree' posts can apply here. Second example is fine, because it has a topic other than thread's inactivity that people might catch on.

Adding to Mijzelffan's post, what about "I think I killed the conversation" type posts?
Regarded same as posting about inactivity unless added with some other context for people to catch on.

How about simple posts containing nothing but a greeting?
That's acceptable. That's one way to bring up a conversation without cycling practically the same message over and over.

Black 3 and White 3 will be released on the original Game Boy.

Yeah, and the graphics would be fitting for the titles of the games. Black, white, gray, and maybe some... green?

I was surprised they're not jumping on 3DS.

Yes.

They would also (hopefully) be forced to make a simply smashing game to make up for the graphics.

The level cap should be 255 to make for some challenging fights. And maybe 10-on-1 battles.
