Maka is my least favorite Soul Eater character.

Should I change mine to Joshua so I can safely say I can win?

Matthew could still kill Joshua.

Shall we replay Week 3, Day 7?

Joshua doesn't have higher than infinite HP.
Therefore, he's vulnerable to a Silencer.

Joshua also has the ability to
stop bullets
(don't read.. actual spoiler), so therefore, he should be able to stop a slicer.

You can't stop what you can't see.

So now you have a (%critical/2)% chance to win in the most favorable conditions.

You won't be attacking anything if your game is glitched.

Well, let's add to that a 75% Avoid, +20% crit from Supports, +30% crit from a Killing Edge, and natural 15% crit due to high luck. He's got around a 30% chance to kill each strike, and 75% chance of survival each time Joshua attacks.
Could go either way.

So. Much. Theoretical. Problems.

Of course, if this battle was taking place in Shibuya, Josh would win no problem.

And did we factor in the fact that Joshua can teleport to alternate dimensions?

Oh, now you've added in terrain bonuses.

Matthew can cap at 30 speed no problem, so he can move pretty darn fast too.

I highly doubt that.

I have not received legitimate proof of such preposterously astounding hypothetical abilities.

I thought its ability was auto-win.

So what's its normal ability?

It's called "wizardry." It causes the opponent to hurt itself in confusion every single turn while muttering "what wizardry is this?!" to itself.
