True true.

I used to a pretty kickass Altaria myself.

Pretty much blazed through the whole Pokemon Coliseum with that thing

I used Altaria for the first time in a Sapphire run I did last week. She was a pain in the dick to train at first, but then became quite epic.

Yeah, freaking dragon dance + Earthquake pretty much makes the thing unstoppable.

The only offensive moves on mine are aerial ace and dragon claw. I always enjoyed setting up dragon dance after dragon dance on Sidney while his Mightyena used sand attack, only to sweep his whole team with aerial ace.

Yeah, pretty much. Unfortunately he's not great against Red since 3 of his pokemon know Blizzard in the hail.

Thats gonna be tough for me. The hail thing just makes it more difficult this time around.

I'm catching the legendary birds now. They were giving me lots of trouble before, but as soon as I caught Zapdos I think the curse was lifted because Moltres was pretty easy.

I personally think in FRLG that Moltres was the easiest to catch. In HGSS, I think it was Articuno.

No, it was a few days ago. I got lost in Seafoam Island and went the wrong way ending up in front of Articuno. I tried catching it for lulz. I used up almost all the Ultra Balls I had and was down to my last Pokemon, a Lv 1 Onix. I had to reset the game so I could get out of Seafoam Island, I ended up having to teach Lugia Fly to leave -_-

Does anyone here like dinosaurs? They're extinct and stuff.

Dinosaurs are pretty sick.

Finally walked out of Seafoam Islands with an Articuno in hand.

The catch rate and mechanic is exactly the same as every other game. If it seems harder then it's just your imagination.
