Some of the movesets Red's Pokemon have are kinda bad for someone who is apparently the best trainer in the world. Giga Impact, Blast Burn, Frenzy Plant, and and Hydro Cannon are all bad moves due to the recharge turn. Hydro Pump, Fire Blast, and Power Whip would work so much better.

And his Snorlax has Blizzard and Shadow Ball, despite being a physical attacker. Really? Blizzard maybe I can understand, but Shadow Ball over Crunch? Come on.

And his Pikachu can't do anything to certain Pokemon, especially Ground-types. It should have Grass Knot to have something to actually hurt them with.

Edit: It occurred to me that Snorlax has Crunch and Shadow Ball. They couldn't have given it Earthquake?

Zen Headbutt would be good, but Earthquake is better.

-Body Slam/Double Edge
-Earthquake
-Crunch
-Blizzard

The thing about Zen Headbutt is that it's an egg move/move tutor move.

I think it should not have a good move set because I'm trying to beat him x_x

Double Edge is an egg move too I believe. Plus I hate recoil moves, so Body Slam ftw. How I wish Serperior learned Body Slam instead of Slam.

As long as I would be able to get a similar set up by that point, I think Snorlax having egg moves/move tutor moves would be fair. Freaking annoying yes, but fair.

Neosquid, you ninja'd me about DE.

@Luminosity Where did you find those things? They'd be my favorite starters if they were used. All original.

I accidentally tried to use Derp derp derp. Fail on my part xD.

The only thing I hate about G/S/HG/SS is the fact that there is such a jump between Blue and Red. Grinding for that long just isn't fun.

Omg, I would love this as a grass starter:
fakestarters.jpg
The water cow thingy isn't bad either
Water Buffalo?

Either way, yes yes yes to the peacock. Grass/Psychic would be a neat typing for it, imho.

Though I usually try to avoid Fakemon because they make me get my hopes up. :'(

Based on the second evolution Peacock, I assume it'd be grass.

And do you think the Fire starter would be just fire? or fire and ground? Or maybe even rock?

I think it'd be Fire/Rock.

The buffalo could be just Water or Water/Fighting. Maybe Water/Dark based on how the coloring darkens with each evo.

gah why am I getting into this it'll never bear fruit ;-;

It's always fun to come up with theories. Hahaha.

I would greatly enjoy all three of these.

GameFreak, take notes.

Yes, that's much better than "cow thingy" XD Plus the final evo looks a little shaggy for a cow.

I know what you mean about getting your hopes up. Particularly for the grass Pokemon because we've so far had 4 reptiles and an amphibian. I do like all the grass starters, but we needs a mammal or a bird (even though birds are reptiles, but they don't seem like it XD) based grass starter.

Anything other than grass/flying would be okay. Pure grass Pokemon have a lot of weaknesses, so adding flying as a secondary type would just make it worse XD

Yeah, I just got it changed back to Luminosity. I did a google image search for fake Pokemon starters.

Hmm, not quite sure. Both Fire/Ground and Fire/Rock seem to add more weaknesses than offer type coverage XD

Same here. >.<

It looks liek Fire/Rock though. :x

I'd love to see Electric/Fighting.

Yeah, it totally does. If only Fire/Rock didn't have a double weakness to ground and water XD

Electric fighting would be very cool. I could see a Pokemon using electricity to stun or disrupt its opponent's movements before striking.

Damn unbalanced typing schemes. :v

That would be neat. Originally I had the idea of it using electricity to stimulate its muscles in order to increase the speed of its punches or the like.

Hey guys, I just posted in Tea in the Garden and totally thought it was this thread, then came to this thread and was confused as to where my post was. I think that means it's time for bed. Goodnight!

Night :)

@Kakuna Matata
I think that is an excellent idea! Also, charging its body with electricity so any physical contact with it causes damage :3

What animal/object/myth/etc do you think would work best for this? The first thing that comes to mind is a cheetah because of the high speeds.
