Transylvania is the one with vampires. Transylvania is in Eastern Europe. Pennsylvania is a state in the Northeast US, near New York. Its capital is Philadelphia.

So do they still call them states in Brazil, or something else?

The msot famous are rio de Janeiro adn São Paulo.
Albeit common "knowledge" of many foreigners Rio isn't Brazil's capital,Braziia is.
This work in a similar fashion as New York

Because I don't pay attention to the animé, I've got to ask; why's everyone suddenly jumping ship?

Ash caught so many Pokemon that screentime isn't divided evenly between them, Pikachu is being shoved in our faces again, most of the battles are cheap with no real strategy, Iris is boring, Ash/Trip rivalry is boring, etc. etc. etc.

It learned Hi Jump Kick and defeated a Mandibuzz. I don't think Scraggy's done much else since then, iirc.

Some idiot gave me a Reshiram for my Darmanitan. The thing he doesn't know is that I has another RageCandyBar.

According to its Bulbapedia page, Ash's Swadloon has done fuck all since BW023, while Snivy's gotten a lot of screentime, so I have to wonder why they even found it necessary to include Swadloon on the squad...

Sometimes I think the animé needs a gritty reboot. That's what Digimon did when Tamers rolled around, and even now that I'm older I still think Tamers is awesome. Meanwhile... Pokémon still sucks.

I hate that Pikachu is getting shoved in our faces, I mean Ash has more Pokemon that he could focus on like I want to see at least one of the starters evolve, like Oshawott.

Checking a certain piece of Bulbanews, seems that in the case of Pokémon with little screentime, they're just evolving them off in lieu of proper, drawn out character development. Meh, whatever gets views, I suppose...

Also, I'm wondering if I should be worried about the fact that I've got video game BGM on my iPod. Should I?

Also, Ash lost what little maturity he gained in the beginning of BW and is completely ignoring type advantages.
It's not all bad news, though. We have Cilan. Though I preferred Brock.
