Ah, I see those games. I never knew what these games were called, thanks.

Their pretty fun to play, when I'm bored.
Yes, they are a great way to spend time, for one thing. XD
Some of the games also add decent plots and other additional puzzles so that it isn't boring.

What are some games you have played?
Hidden Object Games? I've played all in Mystery Case Files series (there's one released for DS). I wish the game released for the Wii was imported, but chances are, I'll end up watching walkthroughs to see what that game is about. ;_;

Could you say Professor Layton on NDS is a form of Hidden Object Game?

That's more like a puzzle game imo.

OMG, how could I forget about that series? o.o <3
I love those games too. XD

Yeah, it's a good series. My first ever NDS game. And still enjoying it.

Professor Layton games give me migraines. Mostly because I get addicted ("One more puzzle and then I'll quit" pssh, you said that 15 puzzles ago :p) and play for too long.

Puzzles encourage logical thinking because they involve putting related pieces together to form the big picture. Puzzle making is an activity which I classify as a "quiet" activity because it involves concentration with minimum interference. Quiet activities are highly recommended for kids nowadays in this world of constant stimulation.
