What kind of games have you played on Wii?

It'll be very different then. I understand, I'm not really great with controlling the Wii Remote. Whenever I try to stab with the sword (requires a light flick of the remote forward), I tend to add a slight downward swing that makes Link swing his sword vertically rather than stab. It's a problem when facing some enemies that must be defeated with stabs. >>;

Thankfully, you get enough chances to practice, so you'll have time to get used to the controls.

I haven't played that game, so...
Does it have any moves or mechanics that rely on the player swinging the remote?

I placed in the spelling bee, out of 120 kids. =D Along with 36 other students, I'm going to the finals. And then national, hopefully.

That's wonderful to hear, Raizhu. :D

How's the spelling bee for you so far? Not very difficult, I imagine? :)

Thanks. ^^

It was kind of weird... some words were really easy, like "slight" and "access," but others I'd almost never heard before.

I expect they'd need a way to distinguish those with better vocabulary skills; after all, it is a contest.

I haven't been in (or even watched) a spelling bee before, how do you prepare for those?

For this one, there's a site for it with a list of words to study. For a smaller one... well, there isn't much you can do unless you get a list of words. XD;

I failed Ancient History. Now I have to re-do the test only three days after my birthday.

Ah I see, at least there is something to use as a reference to prepare for yours. :D

Aw, that sucks, Mizzle. :(
Especially the birthday part. My birthday is always around the time of the midterms so I know how annoying that is. -_-;

At least it isn't a one-shot for a mark. I wish I could re-do tests for subjects that I didn't do great at.

Ugh, I'm about to fail my Mid-Term exams as well. I wasn't meant for History, and is a bunch of memorizing. I'm not good with English Honors either. My birthday is at the very day the Mid Terms start, which pretty much ruins the mood. I wish I had the day off, yet these exams are serious.

The pain -_-;
My birthday has always been in/around midterms so I know how stressing that is.

I'm worried for my friend.
Why? What happened? o.o

I hope she feels better soon.
Perhaps it feels more important to her than it really is that she isn't letting it go. Conversing with her could help?

I can't say much because I don't know what's going on, but chances are that if she feels better, she'll be able to make better choices (like letting that one pass, etc). And I find that when a friend is there to listen to you, that itself makes the speaking friend feel appreciated and better. If you tried talking with her, hopefully she'll feel a bit better and maybe open up for advice.

Anyways, I hope whatever happened to the friend - or the things that she won't let go - isn't anything really bad.

It's not that bad, but she's beating herself up about it.
Thanks, though. :] And I think she'll recover soon enough.

Get ready for my opinion:
I've had many friends like that. Some let the past or pain go, and others refuse since it really did hit them deep. I tend to want to be alone if I'm depressed, perhaps she needs time alone. Honestly, I get depressed over the little things like relationships and friends moving away. I always ask myself to let them go, yet it takes me around weeks to even months.
