I'm blowing all my money on a 3DS tommorow. XD

Don't do it, there are no games, THERE ARE NO GAMES! ;_;

I never played the original OOT. REASON.
Also there's Fire Emblem: Awakenings and Kingdom Hearts 3D coming soon.

Get an N64. It's cheaper and has better games =D

But seriously, how are Fire Emblem games? I don't even know what kinds of games they are.

But N64 games are now collector's items and ludicrously priced. :/
FE games are tactical RPGs. Grid-based and stuff.

Not all of them. The only ones are like Zelda games and Smash bros and Super Mario, and they are like $30 tops. I got my N64 with one controller for $25.

I just got Majora's Mask a few weeks ago for $20.

I just looked it up, and a new N64 is 350 bucks. If I ever get one, it's gonna be used...

They're pretty decent. I've only played 3 and half Fire Emblem games though (6, 7, 8 and played a bit through the remake of 1), of which I only really liked 6 and 7. They have the best mechanics and story imo.

The plot and characters make it feel like an RPG, but it's actually a tactical game, in which you move characters on a map and tell them to attack enemies.

Sacred Stones was good too. Didn't like the nerf on Paladins though. :/

Yeah, they've been OOP for a long time, so a new one would be expensive. It's not quite retro enough for used ones to be expensive though. Don't wait too long if you really want one.

Maybe I'll check it out sometime.

I hated the Sacred Stones. The story was predictable and kinda weird, the new classes and changes to old classes caused terrible imbalance (the trainies getting a total of 50 levels max, swords on a general, light magic on a sage, paladins and bisschops completely being outclassed by the new changes and classes, etc.), and to top it off you had to fight monsters. Seriously? I was ok with the dragons, but fighting zombies and ghosts in a fire emblem game just didn't feel right.

What? How do you hate the Sacred Stones???

I love that game. It's my favorite in the series!

That being said, I do know why people hate it. The story isn't the best, and some people are put off by the new class changes. But personally I love how they did them.

Thanks.

Any anywho, my very first Username ever on this site or otherwise is based off of The Sacred Stones. It was "Ephraim and Me" since I really loved his character way back in 2007.

Ephraim was like the most overpowered character in that game. So I abused him to no end.

I think the forum glitched a little.

I can't even remember who I trained well in FE8. Forde and Franz I remember. But it's vague besides that. I should check it.

Ah yeah, Franz was fun to use. I liked using the Knight as well, though I always forget his name.

Wow, FE8 only had 33 characters? That's few. FE7 had 42, and FE6 had a whopping 54.

Also appearently I killed Cormag on my playthrough.

Ouch. Cormag is such a boss.

I like the smaller cast. It's easier to train up more people instead of having many characters who never battled.
