Bad, I asked my mother to go over my paper to look for any spellings errors, and appearently she has problems with over 70% of the entire thing (and not just spelling errors, she even told me one of my conclusions made no sense).

I just asked her to mark everything red she found something to be wrong with. I looked at one page she was done with, and it was more red than white.

If it's not done in a constructive way, I can see how that feedback would be more demoralizing than helpful. There's no point knowing one person thinks something is wrong if they can't explain why.

I'm assuming if she took the time to make his page hemorrhage red ink she's probably added something useful. I suppose working the relevant things out of her feedback is just up to you, @Mijzelffan

She can explain why, but it's the way she does it. My mother critisizes even the stuff I didn't ask for to be critisized, and for some reason everything had to be yelled ("Just look at that! Why are you formulating it like that?! Do you yourself think that is good writing?! That conclusion doesn't make any sense!") And then when I tell her they doesn't have to speak like she's infuriated with me every time she critisizes me, they (she and my dad) tell me she's not and that I should be grateful for her help.

And then she quit halfway through because she thought it was too much work (because she checked everything rather than the stuff I asked for), while the most important part I wanted her to check was on the latter half. Great.

That's the plus of just doing a lot of math. Even though my parents are smart and all, they have no idea what I'm doing, so it's not like they can criticize it.

That, and of course living 700 km away has nothing to do with. They just care for my grades, which up until now have been good.

I think I'm buying the black bar censorship glasses, in protest of all the Internet censorship acts.

EDIT: I bet everyone who doesn't know about the bills will either think I'm blind or an MTV douchebag, though.

Two things... one, holy snap, didn't expect to see Archaic in here. :p
Second... I'm the 750,149th highest scoring player in Angry Birds right now out of 22,922,770 total players. And all I'm doing is playing for fun. :|

He posted twice in the oldest chat thread, and five times in the second version. I remember one of them being about the 503 skin on april fools.

I know! It's fun seeing Archaic post in the peasant thread. Though Mozz being online is rarer.

People at school have been asking to use my computer a lot lately, to email files and stuff. So, sick of them using my account and possibly giving it malware, viruses or worms (like their effed up flash drives always seem to be infected with) I created a new user account specifically for that purpose. The new user account is........

NICOLAS CAGE.

Yes, the account name is Nicolas Cage. The background wallpaper is this image (set to "tile"), and all of the background icon shortcuts belong to Nicolas Cage. (i.e., Nicolas Cage's Google Chrome, Nicolas Cage's Firefox, Nicolas Cage's iTunes), as well as all the icons being pictures of Nicolas Cage. (A separate photo for each icon, obviously.)

Also, the cursor pointer is not an arrow, just a tiny photo of Nicolas Cage. I'm hoping this deters them from using my laptop anymore.

What if one of them is a huge fan of Nicolas Cage?

I used to like Nicolas Cage. In all 200 of his sub-par films.

No, I kid. I'm not a fan of him, but I don't hate him. I despise him.
