It's impossible to suck at math, math is just following directions.

I almost changed my major to math after my second year, but the idea of being able to say "I'm a rocket scientist" was just too tempting.

Just curios, how many years are a typical major? It's not a term in use here, so I'm just curios. I'm going to take my Master and I'll see where I'll go from there. The plan is to be a teacher, I'm following that program at the moment anyways.

Four years usually for bachelor. Masters is another 1 or 2 years I think, and doctorate is some ridiculously large amount of time.

If I lived in America or most other places I would've started uni by now. We have a mandatory extra year and an additional voluntary one so I'm not in Uni until September 2013, when I'll be 19.

Hmm, I think bachelors are 3 and Masters are 5, though I do assume you can do them faster (or slower, for that matter). I have plans for the next 4 years at least.

That's enough calculus for today. When I try for ten minutes to get the right answer using (1+cos(2theta))^2 instead of (1+2cos(theta))^2, it's enough. Perhaps I'll play some C&C Generals or Red Alert 2 or something.

Here the bachelor is three years (though the university administration makes a difference between propedeuse and bachelor, the propedeuse being the first year of a bachelor), and a master is either one or two years, depending on what master you choose to do.

What? It takes 2 years for Associates here,
4 years[not counting the two you have made in associates],
6 for Masters[also not counting]
And...well, for a Doctor's, it can vary from 8 to 10 depending from the profession.

I may be wrong here, but that's how it works where I live in.
