I love how I don't have to attend any lectures, classes, nothing... But on May 26th, I'm gonna have to take politics exam. Hate it.

I had one class where the exams were online, the paper submissions were online, and the professor just read off of the PowerPoint slides. Oh, and the lab consisted of looking at slides of parasites through a light microscope. Considering that everyone should have learned how to use a light microscope in basic biology and the CDC contains a whole library of microscope images, they should have just made the class an online one. Waste of time to go to lecture and lab.

I wouldn't mind a complete electronic class, but theres something about having actual paper that I like.

And here, we don't get notes in high school if we miss a day. But, you are left to your own devices to catch up

Teambuilding a pokemon team is like the hardest thing ever. There has got to be a trick to it. My current MO has always been "throw some stuff together", but that never works. How do people create good teams? I must know!

For competitive battling or just in general?

Competitive, of course.

There's several things every good team needs and as long as you have everything checked off, can use them well and know about team synergy you should be fine.

Every team needs almost all of these: Entry hazard support, Rapid Spinner, Physical Wall, Special Wall, Physical Sweeper, Special Sweeper, Anti-Lead, Phaser, Scarfer, Set-up Sweeper, Specific counters for team's largest threats, etc.

Obviously some Pokemon fill more than one of those roles.

No it doesn't. Teams can easily go without a lot of those.

Also, I can't get Linoone to work in RU. Even with Drifblim's bulky subsitute passed to it. Stupid Rotom and Quagsire.

First off, I said most of those. Secondly, you're wrong if that's your frame of mind. Any team that has even marginal success fulfills those roles and the best of teams have just about all of those things.

I don't even know why you'd think of running linoone without Seed Bomb and Shadow Claw for coverage and beating counters. Besides, you could try a Belly Drum/Salac set with Ex Speed, Seed Bomb and Shadow Claw, which is one of the best sets, if not the best.

I'm in college and nobody even cares wether you are there or not. You just can't miss certain classes more than twice (but can skip lectures as much as you want), no questions asked.

Yes they don't care but they also don't help you. If you miss a day in high school, they save notes for you and give you an extra day for homework and make sure you get everything you need. If you miss a day in college, then God help you.

He goes to European college. It's the same thing as high school for us.

Yeah, from what I have seen from American series and movies, it's more like the other way around.

I mean, you guys can take classes like photography and "Spanish 101". That should speak for itself.

It being the other way around would mean the exact same thing... Happy trollin'.

Teams not hazard weak should most definitely not sacrifice a team-slot to a spinner. Styles like hyper offense only use phyisical OR special attacks. Also, you can have stuff like Tank's that are physical, meaning you don't need a physical sweeper. An anti-lead? Lol, in BW leads are already uncommon thanks to team preview. A phaser? Not always needed. Take a random RMT and check it for phasers, you probably won't find any. Spikes? Definitely not seen on every team (SR is though). I might suck at pokémon battling, but I do know a lot about it. It's basically like every sportsfan ever.

Also, of course I use seed bomb and shadow claw. Though in case you didn't notice, Quagsire's ability is Unaware, and Rotom usually has substitute. Linoone is as frail as what, and setting-up usually takes to much time for the frail thing, especially because it has to sacrifice half its hp. In the meantime opponents break through its sub and kill it, while I can only break to their sub and do like half damage respectively, because Linoone is weak without priority and +6 attack. Oh, and rotom with +speed nature outspeeds adamant linoone. Because Salac hasn't been released yet.

It being the other way around would mean the exact same thing... Happy trollin'.

You know what I meant. And if you didn't, then that only proves my point :p

Our high school being the same thing as your college is no different from your college being the same thing as our high school. It's like saying 1+3=2+2 is different from 2+2=1+3.

Unless he's saying that their college/high school is like our college/university. Which I'm not saying he is saying.

The two education systems are like apples and oranges anyway. One has you specialize early on, the other doesn't.
