In all honesty, how much different is this thread than Tea in the Garden?

The BCCT is supposed to be more serious. And it is, most of the time. xP

Tea in the Garden is supposed to be for random posts, but mods are silly so now it isn't. There is some history behind the relationship of the two threads and people will cry if one of them is destroyed for the purpose of them being the same.

So basically, just the people who post in them?

For some people, I guess. I wasn't really involved with any drama, I just liked this thread.

So basically, just the people who post in them?
Pretty much. There is a bit more leeway for randomness there as well.

Also this one counts towards post count and TiG doesn't.

Basically what they said. Tea in the Garden used to be called Random Messages, which was exactly what it sounds like, a thread to post random messages. Its great if you want to post silly random stuff, but unfortuanately there was some drama so it was changed to "Tea in the Garden" and the rules there became more strict, thats basically it. Tea in the Garden isnt much like RM used to be IMO, its less random and a lot less active than RM used to be, although thats my observation. I personally preferred it when it was Random Messages, though I continue to post in Tea in the Garden.

And that's a part of BMGf's history in a few posts.

Then again, when this thread started up, there wasn't too much difference between it and RM

I've learned more on here in the last five minutes than I have during this math class.
