Welcome to the Conversational Spanish Thread! In a similar vein to the Japanese Conversational Thread, this is a thread for conversing with other users—in Spanish!

- All levels of Spanish speakers are welcome!

- Keep English in inline spoilers.

- This thread is intended for those who are actively interested in learning and practicing their Spanish. As such, it would be beneficial for posts here to make as limited use of Google Translate as possible. Translators are fine for vocabulary or double-checking a message, but messages which have been fully filtered through Google Translate are not appropriate for this thread.

(Thank you to @Masatoshi for help with the message translation)

I'll translate it in a bit but I'm curious to see how much non-native speakers understand, I hope it's ok :).

I don't want to sound picky but, in Spanish we use exclamation marks at the beginning and end of the sentence, like ¡Vamos!

Sorry but I had to tell you, you're free to correct me if some of my English sounds weird :ROFLMAO:. And don't forget to visit us from time to time :enzap:.

Ya se me adelantaron XD
No sabía que sabías español Torchic :D
Si alguien necesita ayuda, decidme :)

Or I've been studing for 6 years? desde hace seis años
Yeah I mean this one. I was going to say "I have been studying for six years" but I don't know the sentence structure for that. My Spanish learning history is messy. Had to do Spanish 2 or 3 for three years in a row.

No creo que decir "ahora finalmente están viendo a la verdadera yo" cuente como poesía, pero si suena un poquito dramático :ROFLMAO:.

Ahora voy a decir "Thank you pana" y me voy a cambiar el nombre de usuario a EternaPanaDeLosPokés, oye no suena mal :sneaky:.

Que lo dudes solo me da ganas de hacerlo, a Torchic sí le gusto :sneaky:.
I should have predicted this mistake when I got recommended an article about por vs para :ROFLMAO:
Don't worry, I confess that sometimes I use word vs. word articles . Has any of my English ever sounded weird? It would be good to know, that helps to improve.

Necesito pracitar de Espanol, gracias senorita Torchic!
My friend, it would be "Necesito practicar mi Español, gracias señorita Torchic" though the "ñ" is probably because they're not on your keyboard. I hope I don't sound like a nagging Spanish teacher :ROFLMAO:.

De nada, it is said "malo" if we talk about a masculine noun or pronoun, or "mala" if it's female. I hope it helps :).
