Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
"Really? Alone? Good luck."
At that moment, the bars over the door lifted again, and the door opened for just long enough for Lucas to enter the room, looking tired from the heat of the Fire Temple. Upon seeing Rouge and Jade, however, he hid his fatigue and looked annoyed.
Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
Rouge took a step back; she herself couldn't handle another fight. Second-guessing her next move, Lucas took a step to the right as Rouge ran to the door, quickly opening it and shutting it behind her, granting them a brief look at Marine, sitting and looking bewildered on the switch outside. Lucas went the rest of the way to Jade, presenting her with the bow and quiver he had snatched from Rouge as she had run past.
"Are you okay?"
Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
"Or...You could try to make peace and take the moral high ground...But if it's a fight you want, who am I to stop you? Anyway, shouldn't we get going? That kid's been outside for a while now. She's waiting for you, I think."
Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
He went with her. The bars slid back down in front of the door for a moment, then re-raised, dropping to about halfway over the door, then returning all the way up. Marine's curiosity, it seemed, had momentarily gotten the better of her.
Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
"What did I miss?" Marine asked, hopping around on the button, sending the bars into a temporary up-down spasm, in tempo with the pressure (or lack thereof) on the switch.
