She was aware that she couldn't divert the wind as she could the stream of fire she faced previously, and so manoeuvred around it in some sort of circle, hoping to, chiefly, dodge its attack while not losing any ground to it, and, as a nice secondary effect, if possible, to dizzy it.

She took her chance, and gave it several forceful, enflamed kicks, aiming mostly for where she guessed its lungs (or whatever equivalent it had) would be, to try to keep it from successfully drawing a breath, giving her more time to attack.
