“Beware of those guys, though,” she said, pointing to a Puffy Blowhog. “Those guys can blow you around.”

"Woo, how terrifying," she said with more-than-palpable sarcasm.

“More so for the Pikmin; it can... deflower them, for want of a better word. And I mean that literally.”

She smirked.
"Perhaps 'strip them of their flower' might be a better way of wording it. But such creatures pose no threat to me. If you and the Pikmin take out the rest while I work on the 'Puffy' variety of the species, there's no risk of...uh...'deflowering', as you put it."

"Then I shall!" As proposed, she went to attack the Puffy Blowhogs, using much the same method as she had when facing the Fiery variant.

Since this enemy was airborne, it would be a slight challenge to directly attack it. It drew in a breath to blow a strong gust of wind at her.

Re: EEA: The Tiny Soldiers *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*

She was aware that she couldn't divert the wind as she could the stream of fire she faced previously, and so manoeuvred around it in some sort of circle, hoping to, chiefly, dodge its attack while not losing any ground to it, and, as a nice secondary effect, if possible, to dizzy it.

Her intended effect was working, as it turned to try and blow her away.

She was aware that the amount it could blow at her on a single breath was finite, and prepared herself to attack once the opening arrived.

Indeed, its breath was limited, and it inhaled to breath in more air.

She took her chance, and gave it several forceful, enflamed kicks, aiming mostly for where she guessed its lungs (or whatever equivalent it had) would be, to try to keep it from successfully drawing a breath, giving her more time to attack.

It was working, as the Puffy Blowhog was unable to breathe in for another gust of wind.

Noting this, she increased her efforts to deliver a definitive coup de grace, to defeat it completely.

As soon as she did so, it deflated like a balloon, rocketing about the room in random directions.

She allowed herself a smile at this. She had earned the right to be amused simply by defeating it.

Jade, who had just finished off a Watery Blowhog, was cracking up. “That's funny no matter how many times I see it!”
