There was no sign of Tanya around here; they had missed her again.

"Now this is irritating. Still, at least we have gained..." She glanced at the Pellets. "...whatever these are."

“Oh, these are Pellets; they'll allow us to get more Pikmin.”

“The way we do that is by having the Pikmin carry them to their ships...” She made some red and blue Pikmin demonstrate with the red Pellet. “...and the ship will absorb the nutrients and voila! More Pikmin to utilize. If the color of the Pellet matches the color of the ship, it makes more Pikmin.”

"I see. I can't help but wonder what effect an artificial replica of one of those might have."

“Yeah... Great, now I'm curious. A-anyways... The Pikmin aren't just released from the ship ready to go. Ya have to uproot them from the ground first. We used to have to do it by hand, but now we can just whistle 'em out”

"Through the use of a whistle whose tone has..." She tried to think of a word. "...'pluckaphonic' properties?"

“Yup! That little amplifier on your whistle? That's the Pluckaphone!”

"Doubtful," she said, smiling with pity as she looked at the Pluckaphone on her whistle. "Very doubtful."

“Anyways, I'll demonstrate.” She blew into her whistle, and the ten red Pikmin that had been released into the ground jumped out, ready to serve their leaders.

“Right. Now let's get some more yellows...” She ordered some of the yellow Pikmin to carry the yellow Pellet back to their ship.

After Jade uprooted the Pikmin using the Pluckaphone, she said, “Alright, now let's get out of here.”

"You know how the expression goes about third attempts proving to be the successful ones. Do let's go; we're bound to find Tanya this time."
