Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
Big fell too, but instinctively opened his parasol, which he seemed to have produced from nowhere, to slow his descent. Froggy had made it to his target pool before the collapse, though he had returned to investigate the edge of the hole, from above.
Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
They had landed in some sort of sewer-like basement. Jade had landed on her feet, on some rubble, preventing her from getting her feet wet in the shallow water on the floor.
Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
She looked around the sewers, which were somewhat lit by the opening in the ceiling. “I just hope something won't jump out at us from out of nowhere...”
Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
From the darkness of the sewers, a voice said, “Did sssssomeone call for me?” Jade immediately thought, Oh jeez, I hope it's not a giant talking snake... The figure that stepped into the light, however, was not what Jade was expecting at all. It was a bipedal scaly creature, about as tall as Wes, clothed in a green vest, with a belt of some kind, extending to a loincloth, with black pants. It also wore shoulder pads and shield-like knee pads, with black strips of cloth wrapped around its forearms, hands, and head, leaving its reptilian eyes and mouth exposed.
Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
Jade thought, Well, he does kinda look like a reptile... She said, "W-we fell in here. The floor was weak."
Reptile was doubtful. "Sssssure it was. How should I know you aren't trying to exssssterminate me?"
Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
"W-we wouldn't try to kill you. Especially if you're the last of your kind."
Reptile didn't believe her. "You lie! You want to assasssssinate me for my boomerang!"
Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
"No, no! That's not how it is at all!"
Reptile was not going to believe Jade anytime soon. "You're a terrible liar! Now you pay for your liesssss!" He spat out a green substance at Big.
Re: EEA: The Jaded Journey *Me (That Guy) and Alex64*
The substance was apparently acidic, as it had slightly eaten away at the parosol. Reptile roared and lept at Jade, but only recieved a whack in the forehead from her bō for his trouble. He stumbled backwards, slightly dazed.
