The future of the Main Series

have Roserade, Togekiss, Mamoswine and notably Lucario in the base game, with Tangrowth joining us in IoA. Crown Tundra looks set to give us
I think your definition of Sinnoh "all stars" is kind of flawed since only the Lucario and Garchomp lines are true generation 4. All of the rest you mentioned are cross evolutions.

Mostly though DexNav and Mirage Spots. Sinnoh will actually lose one such feature in the remakes due to the absence of a GBA slot.
It would drown out the Pokemon that are already there. They can't do that without adding whole new areas entirely due to Sinnoh being built with the OG DS in mind, not the Switch.
Last time I checked Dex Nav and mirage spots weren’t in the original games. New features can be added.

With due respect, could you please not derail the threads? You were doing the same in the Sinnoh remakes thread, to the point that the person who posts the highest amount comments in the Sinnoh thread is the person not wanting Sinnoh remakes. The discussion is getting stale with the same 1-2 comments. We understand your position on the matter so it would be kind of you to let the rest of us discuss our childhood games.

I was just discussing the Rotom Dex in the What Do You Not Miss thread when I got the idea that maybe the Rotom Dex could use AI in a future Pokemon game to adapt its personality to suit your preferences (basically AI would allow Rotom to really become the friend that Game Freak seemed to want it to be based on what kinds of personality traits you would want in a friend). Thinking about this further, there's really a lot AI could open up in terms of story and personality. Instead of your character be a silent protagonist that the characters just react to with predetermined responses, YOU could supply the dialogue via a microphone and then the characters could respond to you differently based on what you said to them. Hell, you could potentially even change the events of the story based on if the character could catch onto and stop the antagonists plans sooner than others, or maybe the conflict could play out differently based on your choices. There's really a lot of potential for them to make the story a very customized and personalized experience.

Sadly this probably won't happen for at least a few gens, and Pokemon probably won't be the first game to do it (probably one of the other AAA RPGs).

They could have done this with text-based choices a long time ago. They're merely cosmetic even now.

Kind of, but AI allows a much broader range of responses than dialogue trees and with presumably much less work involved. Instead of having to manually program every single possibility, they let the AI determine the possibilities itself.
