I particularly enjoy how you ignored the last half of my post.

And it's hypocrisy because you put forth the opinion that the fanmade rule is stupid... as fact.

Fanmade "rules" are stupid, I don't see how anyone can argue that. Especially the way DP has taking a collective dump on certain past traditions. Also I ignored your last part because it is redundant, and I have seen that question so many times before.

In other words, you're dodging my point.

Did any other of your predictions or analysis ever became true?

If they were getting ready to boot Dawn just like May, she would have gotten a tangible reason to leave. She does not know her future, and the Kenny episode is just a distraction.

I seem to remember May's and Misty's reason to leave not popping up until reight before they left. You seem to think we should get all this information before we really need it. We dont need to know whether or not Dawn's leaving or the reason she's leaving right now

Actually I am not, Dawn isn't May, Misty, or Tracy. The have pushed her much more and Dawn and Piplup have shared the spotlight with Ash and Pikachu. Honestly, they have done alot of things differantly with Dawn then they have done with the past girls.

Please elaborate upon this declaration of fact.

Remember why they replaced Brock?

They believed he would not work for their franchise. It had nothing to do with the story or whatever "teh fans" thought.

Similarly, Dawn has been included as a co-star because they saw it fit to include a permanent girly partner for Ash to maintain their franchise.

May set the precedent for how to manage departure of prominent characters. Dawn is not following any believable departure plot, and instead is being set up to remain with As (you can thank Kennyboy for that).

Have you been watching DP? They have given Dawn more focus then they have ever giving the other girls, they even changed the opening title from Ash's Adventure, to Ash and Dawn's Adventure.

DP isn't over yet. Has it ever occurred to you that maybe they just haven't presented all the reasons why she would leave yet? We've got 3 and a half months left for information to become known. Stop acting like everything has been presented already, it hasn't. There is a ton of time for the writers to give reasons why she may stay or why she may go.

Honestly, it would make a lot more sense to have this discussion in August when the information's on the table and we have images of BW's cast.

That is critical considering they had years to include Misty, Brock or May. And magically, it appears in the first DP opening.

Again you're stating your opinion as fact. Has anyone connected to the anime ever stated this? It's your interpretation on the story and in no way is it fact that this is what the writers intended to do

When someone is coming at you ready to strike, do you need them to tell you they will do so?

Actions speak louder than works, sorry to be cliched. But this is pretty much what was done with Dawn, and Piplup (who nobody could predict would have become so popular) cemented her status as a mainstay to the anime.

They can treat the BW girl exactly the same way they did Dawn. What makes you think that they wouldn't just do it again. They simply transitioned from not including the girls in the opening paragraph to including her. THey'll just do that with BW too.

If someone is about to hit me I would like them to tell me they're gonna

Except that the BW girl is of a different "type". She cannot assume Dawn's position.

Nice that you ignored my other point, I mean seriously how can you watch DP, and think that all the girls have been treated the same. Misty was popular, but they never gave her own sidequest, yeah she had a goal a very vague one that went no where. Then with May, they started to introduce a side quest and counterpart to gyms, but it was never to the point of being the "co-star". With Dawn, they have pushed her into a co-star role along with Ash, making their friendship the highlight of the series(High Touch etc), putting all this similarities between Ash and Dawn, the even changed the opening title. Whether, Dawn stays or not, you can't deny that they have treated her like May and Misty because they haven't.

Yeah, I predicted Meowth wouldn't learn a new move or leave in this week's episode... NOW MY WORD IS LAW, BOW BEFORE ME!!!

If they were getting ready to boot Dawn just like May, she would have gotten a tangible reason to leave.

Dude, GF's been over for a week, give it time. None of the people who left the show got reasons to leave that much in advance...

Fanmade "rules" are stupid

Look what you've done now... the fanmade rules are crying !!

Especially the way DP has taking a collective dump on certain past traditions.

True but it hasn't forgone all of them. I'm not saying that Dawn leaving is impossible, just that the arguments that you and MU are pushing just don't add up to a whole lot.

Have you been watching DP? They have given Dawn more focus then they have ever giving the other girls, they even changed the opening title from Ash's Adventure, to Ash and Dawn's Adventure.

Again that's true. But in a way, that could be to indicate that DP was Ash and Dawn's adventure and that BW will be Ash and BW girl's adventure.

Honestly, it would make a lot more sense to have this discussion in August when the information's on the table and we have images of BW's cast.

I agree, but Sense doesn't live here...

Except they have. IMO, Dawn has been treated more or less like May. Sure, she had that 'poor self-esteem' subplot, but that was quickly dropped.

It is intresting isn't it?
I figure they must have had a reason for it.
They could have just left it Ash adventures like normal.
They'll either change it back to the old ways or just change it to include Ash and 5th Generation Girl Adventures.
