LOL, just not a long ago, I told Boogie it's possible to find out if the other users are him by chechking their IP...
I bet almost all the users who registered in April/May 2010 and randomly became regulars here and enjoy Dawn discussions - are all boogie clones... (urban, game... there are more...)

A mod really should compare IP of all April/May 2010 registered users

But, I have been registered since 2007......

The only reason those people didnt get as much crap from everyone is that they didnt go around acting like their opinion was fact. If you think Dawn will stay that's fine but dont go around acting like it's already been confirmed. There's no way of telling what will happen yet. It's too early to know Dawn's fate and we probably wont find out until after the league

Post of Agreement. Its frankly just a matter of word choice. I guess nobody hates your opinion. Every single person hates your word choice (except a few of your other accounts worshippers).

They'll do the exact same thing with the BW girl. Dawn's different from May or Misty, so she gets treated differently with more focus. They can do the exact same thing with BW girl as Dawn though, they're simply transitioning to giving more focus to protagonists other than Ash.

Post of Agreement. "But the could push it to the moon and the kids won't sell." No it'll probably sell, it's pokemon. It always sells. The downfall of the show won't because of a female leaving. Besides, kids don't boycott. They aren't protesters. This isn't the Boston Tea Party or anything. They'll want to by the new action figures.

EDIT

Oops XD so maybe not you, but look at all recent posts in this thread and other threads - especially in threads Dawn is involved
You'll notice a lot of April/May 2010 registered users who just randomly appeared and became regulars... and many of them are too similar to boogie and its clones (talking about the girls, randomly mentioning Disney shows...)

They wouldn't still treat Piplup as a 4th gen Pokemon (or at least not merely a 4th gen Pokemon), just like they don't treat Pikachu as merely a 1st gen Pokemon, and just like they don't treat Wobbuffet as merely a 2nd gen Pokemon.

But Piplup is a fourth gen starter pokemon making it a pokemon that represents that generation because its one of the defining pokemon of the generation. Wobbuffet isn't at the same mascot status as Piplup or Pikachu. And Pikachu isn't a starter and he is the pokemon that represents the pokemon franchise. Otherwise they most likely would have replaced it every generation with a new character and a new mascot.

Lol I'm joking. You probably aren't the same dude. But I do get the feeling sometime that a lot of these accounts are stringed.

That's one assumption, however, you need to provide more concrete evidence they will do so. I backup my argument by the fact they promoted Dawn as a counterpart to Ash, not just a entity separate from him.

Quick question dawn won the grand festival correct..?

No Zoey did

That's true that they did put her on the same level but that in no way is concrete proof that she is staying. You're taking your opinion and giving it as evidence

I did. Too bad I'm not on his side am I? Aaaalso I had an account in 07. I just sparingly used it since I was at a military academy, so I just got a new one as I forgot my old username. Not to mention the only reason I'm on here is because it's summer. But enough about my life story. To Swindle^^^ nah she lost dude, watch DP177, it was good.

He's just saying it is very possible to promote BW girl as a counterpart of Ash also. They are a very capable company with millions of dollars at their fingertips. It's also quite possible to try and advertise her MORE. And then the **insert generation VI here** could quite possibly sell even MORE then the BW girl.

Everyone needs to stop discussing who might be a sockpuppet account right now. I'm handing out warnings if that goes on.

Everyone also needs to realize that their opinions are not facts. We don't know what Hikari's future is yet.

Difference being Piplup is a starter, intrinsically representing Gen IV. Pikachu is the overall mascot of pokemon, so it makes more sense for it to stay throughout generations. No matter what, Piplup promotes the fourth generation.

Quit talking about evidence, you never present any, and you're not doing a great job of convincing people you are presenting fact. It's your opinion. The minute you understand that the minute people may start liking you a bit more.

I believe Dawn will leave but continue her training with Zoey, not Kenny.

According to you they are being promoted as counterparts probably because they are both going on a journey and traveling together. However, this is only happening RIGHT NOW and because they are in Sinnoh which Dawn is the biggest representation of. Dawn represents Generation IV and not Generation V. The new girl will represent Generation V. And one reason they could be promoting Dawn more is try out new promoting techniques, because they didn't do this from the start.

I already made a list of several factors, like hiring a voice actress for Dawn that has a high chance of staying there longer than those for May and Misty. Even if you can't discuss things at that level, you can look at the events in the show. Can you draw from them any conclusion that they are giving Dawn an exit? From my observation, it presents Dawn having no real recourse for departure. Story lines are straightforward are planned months ahead, we don't need to get into "imaginative" ideas to explain things.
Dawn lost the GF, she rejected Zoey's offer in DP 177, and didn't even say, "I'll get back to you". Then DP 180, which is not a proper sendoff, and instead is more of a counterpoint to May's leaving scenario.

Equating her with Ash means they are going to keep using her just like Ash. As Ash represented all generations in the anime, Dawn was not the only one.

Okay lets flatter your idea. Lets say she stays for the next generation. Lets say she stays til the end of the entire series like you say. She's already runnerup in the Grand Festival. To have her improve anymore then next generation she'll need to win it... What from there? She keeps traveling with Ash after she wins it? Ash can have a story afterwards. He'd still have to beat the entire elite 4. He's still have to beat the Champions. Not to mention how many Champions there are. What does Dawn do? Just go around and win the Gradn Festival year after year after year? Until it just becomes routine.

EDIT: And what good does traveling with Ash do towards her goal?

She is only being equated with Ash because she is just as important to the DP series and Sinnoh as Ash is to the pokemon franchise. Her character is being shown to have just as much importance only for the DP saga.
