Because we must all hail Queen Hikari.
That's what the pokemon company has been saying from the start. Shouldn't they be winding her story down by now to make way for "BW girl"? Now she is at the center of things again, and after the League she still doesn't have time for a conclusion, unless...

They never started winding down Misty or May's story until right until the very end of their respective sagas.
Alright guys, here's the deal. Like it or not, Kasumi does have a chance to return. However, ιɴsσмɴιαc is aboslutly right that this is not a thread only about her, so please keep talk of her to just a minimum. There's a lot to discuss in regards to the end of DP and the beginning of BW, and if you want to talk about Kasumi, there's a nice thread in the clubs section and a social group to do so in.
So again, keep talk of her to a minimum, and respect each other's opinions in regards to this matter.
Misty had no reason to follow Ash, as she really did nothing. All she needed was her bike, and goodbye.
May's story has her trying to get further away from Ash's influence, and developing a prominent rivalry/interaction with Drew.
Neither of those apply do Dawn. Also Dawn need a new goal. She will not accept Kenny's offer. That makes Ash the most likely candidate to provide her one (as he goes to Isshu).
Yes but there was no reason given for her to leave on the show until her sister's called and got her bike back.
This wasn't really happening until toward the end of the story and she finally realized what was happening. Regardless, of this Ash's influence on May still exists as seen in the Resort Restaurant episode and she used the fire and water combo.
They could be applying to Dawn in the next couple of months especially when we see what happens as she watches him compete in the League.
People keep saying High Touch doesn't mean anything, failing to realize its uniqueness and magnitude (being the most advertised song for the whole generation). Why would they make a song about two characters always needing each other to accomplish their goals?
Instead, Kennyboy wants to rip her away from Ash.
It's called, let's make room for a new character we have in mind to take Misty's place.
They can just as easily do the same thing withtht next girl. Its not really that hard.
Lol, you make it sound so serious. It's not really that big of deal.
I think what people need to realize is neither Misty or Dawn are as important as some claim them to be.
Because we must all hail Queen Hikari.
The funny thing is where is this Dawn fanboyism coming from?

All throughout DP I never saw people worshipping the character like now apparently. I guess because we're at the end of DP's run?

The story in AG provided many previous hints for that. Even if Ash helped her a bit, the overall emphasis was that she was starting to move away from him. Is Dawn moving away from Ash somehow? Instead, Kennyboy wants to rip her away from Ash.
Could? There is no time with the League.
People are gonna miss her pink miniskirt. She did tease the auidence alot with it.
But in all seriousness, who knows.
