The animators dont have time to waste on Ursula, or Zoey. The only reason Kenny is being brought up again is because his connection to both Ash and Dawn, to further develop their story.

12 precious episodes, they shouldn't spent it on retreads.
Well, he did get shafted in the GF. He never got to show what he had planned, his battle with Ash could be a way to show that off.

I always thought of Zoey as a rival of Dawn and mentor to her as well.
If we don't see Zoey as a rival, who does she have left, Kenny :O

Kenny and Ursula, who are weirdly similar to Drew and Harley's respective dynamics with May. One has a crush/The other is pure evil...

Do people think Ursula will get a last appearance? I want her to but sadly I see no place for her to appear. :(

I think there's more to be resolved between her and Dawn than Zoey and Dawn and she's one of the most interesting characters Sinnoh brought us. The GF final was close enough that you could think it could have gone either way, it's not like Dawn has a whole lot more to prove to Zoey.

Do I want Ursula to reappear ? Hell yes ! Do I think she will ? Possibly in Dawn's departure episode or Dawn's rival episode. On the very off chance that Dawn should stay, she's the only rival I could see continuing to Isshu.

Jessie got shafted, and she is more important than Kenny.

Except that Ursula is more smooth, and Kenny is as good with women as Harley.

I don't actually believe that Urara would have bothered staying to watch the GF final if there wasn't something to develop on. I just fear how they will do it and the time aspect.

You know with the league and the end of Sinnoh coming up do you think there is a likelihood that we see a contest battle between Dawn and Nando? We never got to see one. It seems that it would be a shame that it couldn't happen because he is one of Dawn's rivals.

I dont care how some fawns think Ursula is so kewl. She is not going to be advancing any new plots any time soon. Yea, we get it, you hate Dawn. She has no other gimmick besides that.

Nando is nobody's rival, unless its a direct battle. He is too polite.

Jessie got shafted,

No she wasn't. Quite the opposite.

Urara and Kengo were the ones that got screwed over. Kengo is coming back, so it would be nice if Urara could and finally beat Hikari. I doubt seeing here again is very likely, but it would be much more exciting than seeing Nozomi again.

Ya. The GF was a bit of a let down with the repeated matchups (though I have to admit that I'm a Zoey fanboy, so, you know, GF wasn't a total loss :sweatlol:) Nando vs Zoey already happened, not to mention that Dawn vs Ursula III really wasn't needed. Zoey vs Ursula & Nando vs Dawn would've been good to see.

Apart from the fact that she outright stated in her debut that she could not pass the appeals either and clearly has some issues as seen after the battle in DP175.

Then compare her to Solidad, who I think is a character in the same vein (minus the villainous aspect, and not being elite).

At least Kenny had the childhood thing, and Nando the gyms/contests. Ursula pales in comparison.

Since we're getting the Buck episode right before the league what do you think the likelihood is of getting him as the legendary trainer? I mean he is a really good trainer and if he were the trainer than Heatran could be the legendary pokemon he faces in the league.

No, he has COTD written all over him. I just see DP 181 as a filler episode, with maybe one or two minor plot developments (coming from the heels of DP 180). Buck is the same level as Mami or whoever that Glameow owner was, in terms of importance.

I know Drew skin is bumpier, but stop saying stuff like that, you'll make him feel self-conscious.

I don't actually believe that Urara would have bothered staying to watch the GF final if there wasn't something to develop on. I just fear how they will do it and the time aspect.

This. I think that that final scene in the dressing room and Ursula staying to watch the final, I think there's something unresolved between Dawn/Ursula so I expect to see her again.

She is not going to be advancing any new plots any time soon. Yea, we get it, you hate Dawn. She has no other gimmick besides that.

She advance the Pikari plot and they still have a rivalry. Since Ursula's never beaten Dawn, I could see the two having an unofficial contest battle with Ursula winning, making Dawn realize that she must leave to [insert region other than Isshu name here] to train for contest. Or Ursula could stalk Dawn to Isshu. That's Dawn's only rivalry that won't have recieved closure if the writers just drop it.

Nando is nobody's rival

Zoey and Ash, I agree that he hasn't had a whole lot going rivalry-wise with Dawn.

I've thought of that, maybe the legendary pokémon is the treasure or guards the treasure and Buck will capture it and use it in the League. Still think it's Riley, but...

I meant that Ursula has a smoother delivery like Drew compared to bumbling Kenny.

That's over with, and she already lost 3 times. It's more than done.

Or Ursula could stalk Dawn to Isshu.

They will create new rivals for them, as all previous rivalries are already resolved by then.

Why would they create new rivals for Dawn she has at least four rivals to work with. Zoey is her main rival because she is the one that she strives to beat the most and Dawn never beat her. Kenny never got the chance to face Dawn in a GF battle so that could happen. Nando hasn't even faced her (He counts because he was displayed with her rivals) so they need to face each other. And we still don't know exactly why Ursula tries to sabotage Dawn the way she does and she never beat her. See there is still plenty left to work with.

Do you understand what a joke is?

Ursula and Dawn's rivalry was never finished. Ursula still thinks she's better than Dawn. If Dawn stays for Isshu(big IF), I would not be surprised if Ursula appeared along the way.

Those rivals are going/or went the way of the GS ball. Sometimes characters don't work out (fact). I think Nando was one of them, they probably thought, "he will be a good recurring character", but they don't end up using him at all.

The writers seek what is easier for them to write. But im sure they appreciate your ideas as well.

Ursula is sore because she was in the Wallace Cup, and didn't even place (from what I remember). She also had a hangup that every time Dawn beat her, it was because of the time limit. This was remedied in the GF.

EDIT: Never mind, she just got eliminated in the first battles of the Wallace Cup.

Or maybe they haven't used him the way they want to yet. For all we know he could have a legendary on him somewhere. I seriously doubt he's going to be using Kricketot at the league
