What's the point of anything? It's all pointless! Just end it already! *baby crying*
Am I right?
What's the point then of doing a league again if the writers are never ever gonna let Ash win a league at least with Battle Frontiers you can always accomplish the goal. So if after every league he were to take on a Frontier challenge we could end it with a sense that he actually accomplished something rather than lose to someone...again.
What they should have done though is make Sinnoh shorter and then make an Elite 4 arc of about 10-12 episodes.
I bet if Palmer wasn't related to Barry, we wouldn't have seen him either.
What would be Ash's motivation for doing this again?
There was no reason to do a second Battle Frontier arc, just like there was no reason to re-visit Johto (thank goodness), so I can see why they just stretched Sinnoh out.

In my opinion there were episodes that were really fillery, and even though they have not come around in the recent times, before that there were like baragges of them to me. Or maybe I have unfortunate timing and it always has a filler episode. :X But then again, what defines as filler varies with person to person. Considering how we both began viewing the anime at different times, our adaptation on what a filler is would be different too, right? o:There really haven't been all that many fillers though. Yes, it took forver between gyms, but there were lots of plot episodes in between.
Oh, I hope they spice it up this season and throw in more originality. This Region was not very exciting for me. Dawn seemed like Ash Ketchum if anything, and the you just had expies of the last region rivals here but severely watered down and everthing. :X And they weren't around as often making shipping in a lulled state.Yes they have.
I agree with the Lady in regards that we should have gotten a Battle Frontier arc this series because then we could see the Frontier Brains who looked like they could have been good characters. But I disagree with it being in Johto because the most logical place to put it would be in the Battle Zone.
You're forgetting where Brock's love of his life is around every episode and that he owned a ninetales. The continuity in this series is as concrete as jello |:I disagree, there really isn't a reason for Ash to challenge the Battle Frontier IMO, he turned it down in Kanto, and it is not like the writers are going to have Ash change his decision.
They've confirmed the games are coming out in September and they've made a habit out of starting a new saga the same week the games come out. I'm betting that BW01 will air on September 30.
I also think Paul will win the League, like Dawn lost to her main rival.
I feel the opposite, because the rivalries stood for different things. Hikari never had to beat Nozomi to show what she had learned as Nozomi's student. Satoshi does have to beat Shinji to show that his training methods are better.
Afterstalking other people's VMsmuch thought I think it would be interesting to see Kasumi at the league. If it is just for a cheering role then maybe she can comment on Shinji due to his past with going through other regions. She could have battled him I guess.

It more intrigues me then thinking it will happen. Kasumi could comment on how he was then and we would see more into his past.
Can't Brock do the same? Who is he to explain that to?.
