He commonly wears sunglasses to cover his blue eyes along with a small scar along his left eyebrow but removes them obviously at night or indoors. He stands at a tall 6'0 with 190 lbs well trained body. When not in his utilities or any sort of uniform, he wears a denim jacket matching his blue jeans. Underneath the jacket, is a black shirt and he wears heavy black boots on his feet. His dog tags are always seen around his neck.

Personality: Cross is a very quiet individual, always on-duty in his mind and holding a very serious demeanor most of the time. Although he always focuses on doing his job, he does look out for the Marines under him at all times, upholding his rank. When it comes to anyone else outside fellow Marines, he doesn't show as much care. He rarely involves himself in affairs outside of his business and dislikes any type of opposition towards him. Because of this, most of his Marines follow him without hesitation and the officers above him try to stay out of his way, earning him quite a reputation. He's also known for being cold and ruthless in combat, sometimes enjoying himself when he engages in a mission.

History: Cross never asked questions as he was growing up as a young boy in Johto. He simply observed and learned everything. As a young teen, he became intrigued in Pokemon, following every child's dream of being one of the best trainers to live. However as he became a teenager, he found himself proficient in another business, getting into fights after battles he had won with others. Physical violence began to ensue in his life over petty matters, often involving himself with young Pokemon gangs. Eventually, he found himself in trouble with the law who decided to try and use his talents for other means. Around staying in the force for a short time as a young man, it was determined even that could not contain him as he had several incidents where he had made brute and tough actions outside of the law.

It didn't take long for him to enlist in the military, a family where he could put his "talents" to better use. He decided to listen to orders, noticing that he was able to get involved more in things by doing so. As he rose in rank, he took care of his responsibilities and decided to remain in the military, getting up to the rank of GySgt where most of the other Marines admired him and his intense initiative to always complete the mission. By then the officers knew who was one of the most adamant about getting the job then and thus, call his platoon in a lot for most direct action immediately.

Appearance: Bishop has a few battle scars on his helmet as well as a customized small pouch on his back for Cross to utilize.
Personality: Bishop is almost the same carbon copy of his master, Cross. Remaining silent and loyal, he rushes once he is ordered to do something. Besides that, he sticks close to Cross, waiting patiently.

Appearance: Saber (the female) is a blue shiny Pawniard.
Personality: Blade is quite the active one of the two, always shuffling about and trying to sink his blades into whatever is smaller then him without concern. On orders however, he's used to snag or immobilize larger targets as well. Saber is the more careful of the two, always trying to hide herself and complete her mission with caution. She is more relaxed and also awaits orders patiently unlike Blade.

Materials/Equipment: Cross typically carries a Pokedex oddly enough from his early years, still retaining information on every Pokemon he encounters to help him in his duty. It is a customized black with a few scratches and wear on it.

Weapons: Instead of a traditional knife, Cross has a slightly larger Ka-Bar, 9 inches in length and used for various and very painful means. Instead of a normally issued M16, he has the smaller compact version M4 Carbine that is commonly seen with the sling tightened on his arm for use with one hand. It has a customized grip underneath the barrel along with a laser PEC-15 on the side and a normal holographic scope on top. He still holds several magazines in his pouches, some taped together for faster reloads. Finally he has several tear gas grenades to flush out his victims.

I'll post the Captain for the 1st Platoon later today so as to ensure that the characters who belong to it have a means by which to receive instructions. Also, an announcement:

There was a considerable demand for this RP on SPPf, so I posted it there as well. This might become an cross-forum RP, which means that some characters may spend phases with and away from the other characters in the RP here. This doesn't mean that the characters from each forum would interact with each other (at least, not necessarily), but that there'd be some "continuity nods" acknowledging that a character did something somewhere throughout the RP. As a result of this, each Platoon may become exclusive to either forum (meaning that only 3 would be available here).

Appearance: Nero wears a white lab coat over black t-shirt and black jeans, and a pair of glasses rest in his lab coat pocket with the lenses popped out. His black hair is spiky and quite frankly a mess, and the stubble on his chin indicates he hasn't shaved for a good while. There are dark bags heavily pronounced under his eyes, a result of lack of sleep. He stands at 6' feet, with a slightly slim build. He wears two silver rings on his right hand, one of which is smaller than the other.
Personality: Obsessed with discovering the secrets behind the Gijinka, Nero slightly comes off as a mad scientist when dealing with a new discovery. Outside of the lab, he's a fairly amicable guy who spends a lot of his time drinking alcohol. He doesn't quite get along with other people, and he considers his fellow scientists to be idiots. His opinion of the Gijinka is slightly worrying; he's determined to discover who or what created them, and why. No matter the cost.

History: Nero started his career as a scientist shortly after becoming a Trainer, wanting to learn more about pokemon than actually battling with them. His career choice would lead him into meeting a beautiful woman who was actually a Gardevoir Gijinka. The two fell in love, eventually marrying.

However, fate was not kind to Nero nor his wife. His wife died of a strange disease, unfortunately planting the seed of doubt in Nero's mind that it was his relationship with her- a relationship between a Human and a Gijinka- which led to her early death. He quit his job, preferring to wallow in his misery. The story of Nero could've easily ended in tragedy; luckily, he was scouted for assistance in studying the Gijinka. Believing this to be his chance to discover the reasons behind his late wife's death, he agreed with full enthusiasm.

Appearance: Same old Metagross, though a few scratches covering its frame.
Personality: Silent and analytical. When Nero is unable to provide directions, Hal is the one who gives orders to the team.
History: Nero's second pokemon from when it was a Beldum. It's processing power is useful in studying Gijinka.

History: The first pokemon Nero ever received. He assisted Nero's experiments as a form of Firewall before being hacked and transformed into Porygon-Z. Funnily enough, while this decreased his file protection, it gave him the ability to wreak havoc on the attempted hacker's computers.

She has some fur, mostly in cuffs around her neck, wrists, and ankles. Like her hair, it's blue and black. She has a tail that ends in a prominent golden star. Her hands and feet are padded with thick tissue, and she can walk on all fours easily. Her teeth are very strong and sharp, like fangs, and her fingernails have been replaced by claws.

Personality: Topaz was sweet and loving once, utterly devoted to the father that raised her, but that all changed when her mother discovered her and ordered her thrown out. She's perpetually bitter and angry, but she doesn't vent loudly. She just stews in her negative feelings. She's very shy and quiet, but occasionally you will hear her suddenly scream or break down into tears when she becomes unable to hold her feelings inside anymore.

History: Topaz remembers nothing before becoming a Gijinka, although she was not born as one. She was raised by the scientist who created her. She always thought of this man as her father. However, since Topaz was a failed experiment (she was too stubborn and wouldn't obey orders) he was ordered to destroy her by the head of the experiment, a woman she considered to be her mother. He couldn't do it, and instead sent her out into the wild. This betrayal is what turned her bitter,

Materials/Equipment: A photo of her father, some food, and some potions, as well as a Thunder Stone. She has a mega charm that she wears as an earring, although she doesn't have any mega stones.

Shadow Sneak - He becomes one with the shadows, using them to sneak up behind the foe.

Appearance: Kage is a fairly tall man, with pale skin and always half-lidded red eyes. His hair is dark blue-gray, almost black, with two small streaks of beige on each side. He wears a long sleeved shirt that sports the same coloring; dark blue-gray, with a beige chest. His pants are dark blue, with a large white dot on each leg where his knees are. He doesn't wear shoes, mostly because his feet have been morphed into Greninja feet. Dark bandage-like cloth is wound tightly around his shins and feet, like a ninja. This is the same for his hands - morphed into those of a Greninja, tightly wound in the bandage-like cloth. His tongue also has changed into that of the Pokemon's, wrapping around his neck and mandible like a scarf. It is also to be noted that his body figure is no longer human - like his hands in feet, is has been changed to become like a Greninja's body structure.

Personality: If there's one word to describe Kage, it would be quiet. He is very mature, and always takes things very seriously. He was trained this way, since he could walk. Outrage - Desoloth rams into the target, a red energy enveloping him as he does so. After successfully landing the attack twice, he will become dizzy.
Bolt Strike - Desoloth's tail generator begins to glow blue, charging him with electricity. He then charges the target.
Earth Power - Desoloth slams his fist onto the ground, causing the earth to erupt under the target.
Ability: Teravolt - Desoloth ignores his opponents' abilities, i.e. Earth Power could hit a levitating Pokémon, Thunder can hurt a Pokemon with the ability Lightningrod, etc.

Appearance: Desoloth is very tall and muscular, sporting Zekrom's wings and tail generator. His skin has turned black via gijinka experimentation, and the pattern of Zekrom has been copied onto his own skin. His eyes are dark red with black sclera, and his hair (turned black as well by experimentation) has a light blue tip when his generator activates. He usually wears a black tee and dark gray shorts. His hands have Zekrom's sheathes over them, and his fingers have become claws.

Personality: Desoloth is very serious, and doesn't take kindly to jokes. He is a very brave individual, willing to sacrifice himself for the sake of his friends. He despises normal people, as they are the cause of his existence. If he is teased for being weird, he takes it as an insult and will result to frying them with a thunderbolt.

History: Desoloth grew up as an orphan, raising himself with the little money he could make in Opelucid City. A little after his 20th birthday, he was kidnapped by a scientist from one of his late shifts. After being genetically modified, he's been kept in an electricity-proof cell, isolated from all human contact.

History: Desoloth met him in the lab as a Riolu.

History: Desoloth was donated to the lab as a newborn, whom had been disowned from his family (they had wanted a girl instead). So, they decided to give him to a scientist working at the gijinka research lab. Once there, his DNA was combined with Zekrom's, which made him rather dangerous. He had to be kept in a special-containment area, which was electricity-proof. After many years, his efforts finally paid off when the lab was raided by the military. He escaped in the heat of the battle, and fled to Castellia City.

Teravolt, Turboblaze, and Mold Breaker don't allow a Pokémon's moves to hit Pokémon whose types are immune; a Flying-type would still be unaffected by Earth Power. It only works if the immunity is due to an Ability. It would work if the target's Ability was Levitate, for example, although your explanation of how his Electric-type attacks would affect an opponent with Lightningrod was accurate. Additionally, practically all the Project's subjects were kidnapped; the Gijinka aren't usually disowned. It'd make more sense for your character to have been given up for adoption and/or raised as an orphan. Furthermore, the Tao Gijinka are some of the more recent test subjects. It'd be more suitable for the character to have been kidnapped (or, at least, experimented on and genetically modified) in the past couple of weeks, or a year at most. At least, that's what I'd envisioned.

All the Legendary Gijinka are contained; using the characters won't be permitted until I authorize it.

I probably should've given that information beforehand, or set a Legendary guideline description on the Tao trio.

If you'd care to know when to use "whom" as opposed to "who," "whom" is used as an object (when the person's being acted upon), whereas "who" is used as a subject (when the person's being or doing something). So, the correct syntax for that sentence would be "whom his family had disowned" (or "who had been disowned from his family"). You don't really have to care to understand this if you don't want to.

Also, the linguistic phrase is "resort to" (to resort means to fall back or recourse); as in, to resort (to turn) to violence as a final option.

You're on the Reserved List, which means that you'll be able to make a character if the Sign Ups thread closes again. You can sign up as whatever you want. I was just saying that there's not much reason to reserve a character unless it's a Legendary Gijinka, because there's no limit to any of the others and the Sign Ups won't be closing soon.
