Plot
It has been many years now since Aang's adventures as the Avatar. Now the new Avatar Korra has been born. Unlike in Aang's time the world has changed where nations have become countries and technology has far surpassed what it was in his days. Korra is 17yr old highschool senior and also the Avatar. However she has no idea she is the Avatar. Now a new evil is lurking will the new avatar realize her true power before its too late or will evil win?
This RP takes place in 2012 and I want to add a few real life current events into the RP to make it interesting and current. Almost as if we really have the Avatar in our world.
This roleplay will follow the new Avatar and her friends in a series of adventures. You don't have to be highschool age either any age is ok just make sure it fits the story. For example no 30 yr olds as highschool students XD.
Rules
No swearing
No God modding. As Avatar even I have limits.
Romance is allowed but keep it PG 13. Anything else take it to your private emails or Skype just not here since kids are on the site too.

Personality-Outgoing and friendly. She cares about her friends and won't let one get bullied.
Korra grew up in the big city of Sky City and had lived a normal life. She has no idea that she is the new Avatar. She loves to play soccer and listens to music. She is outgoing and friendly too. As for being a student she is the best. She focuses more on sports and other things rather then her studies. She has won 3 soccer nation championships with her team before. Her mother is a nurse while her father is a police officer. This makes it hard for them to always be there for Korra. However she understands this and knows they are doing the best they can do.

Bio
Reece grew up in sky city, after moving there from the countryside as a little boy. His parents disowned him,and he walked for miles and miles, living rough for months. That was until he got a job working as a gardener. Thinking he was just a normal guy, with no friends or family, he would take long walks home. He had always been curious about the fact that he didnt feel the cold... And was always hot, like a fire was burning within...

Appearance- Long black hair that is spiked (like Axel from Kingdom Hearts) and red eyes.
Personality- Kaori is caring and hates bullying, and loves joking around. He is serious when need be, and is very caring towards his sister. He likes to defend the weak.
Bio-Kaori grew up with just his well-known business man father in Sky City, while his mother who was married to another man, kept in contact with Kaori by writing letters. The letters usually told Kaori about a younger sister he had. Kaori’s father taught him fire bending while teaching him the ways of the business world. At 15 his mother died of Disease, and his younger sister who lived in another city moved in with him, due to convincing on Kaori and his sisters side.

Appearance-Akahana has shoulder length brown hair with her bangs ending above her eyes. Her eyes are brown.
Personality-Akahana is kind and caring, and loves to have fun. She is very smart for her age, skipping a grade.
Bio-Akahana grew up with both her parents and lived a happy life learning earth-bending from her father, until her mother died when she was 13. When this happened she found out that she had an older half-brother, a fire bender named Kaori. Kaori asked her father for her to live with him in Sky City, figuring a change would be good. Akahana wanting to get to know her mysterious brother helped in asking her father. Eventually he agreed and she moved in with Kaori and his father.
