He continued to walk, and began to hear the fossil talking again. And though Jimmy couldn't understand it, the voice seemed hopeful sounding, rather than totally scared.
Ranger watched Shay sharpen her claws and decided to the same. Only he followed his old tradition of honing his blades on a rock rather than tree bark.
Jimmy nodded. "I can help if you want..." he was cut short by a twinge of pain in his back.
Ranger held his right claw upside down against the rock and held the tip of it with his left hand. He scraped it back and forth like sharpening a knife. He took his work slowly.
Draco walked over to the machine and put the piece in. He put the fossil in the machine, and pressed a few buttons. A few minutes later, the machine beeped. Draco reached in the top chamber and pulled out an Archen.
"Here you go, Jimmy. This little one may still be in shock about being alive again." said Draco
