Abby was sound asleep in her tent. She was dreaming an extremely pleasant dream.
*The Dream*
It was a cool, sunny morning in Mossdeep City. Abby was still sleeping peacefully in her bed when she was awakened by her mother calling her for breakfast. She changed out of her pajamas and changed into a light pink sundress, and put a light pink bow in her hair before she went downstairs. When she arrived in the kitchen, her father was eating his breakfast, while her mother was still cooking.
"It smells good, mom," Abby commented as she took a seat. Shay, who was laying down under the table, meowed and rubbed her tail against Abby's ankles. "Good Morning, Shay."
"Meow," Shay meowed happily. Abby's mother had finished cooking and set a plate down infront of Abby. It contained Bacon, Fried Potatoes, and two pancakes. Abby thanked her mother and began eating. She managed to chew each bite of food thoroughly before swallowing. It was one of those things that Abby was taught as a young child, and it would be one of the things she would teach her children if she ever had any. Then, she heard a knocking at the front door. She excused herself from the table and walked over to open it. When she opened it, she saw her boyfriend, Jimmy, standing there.
"Please, come in," Abby replied as she gave Jimmy a quick kiss before letting him enter the house. She shut the door and walked into the kitchen. "Mom, Dad, I want you to meet Jimmy."
"Oh, so you're the boy that Abby talks about all the time," Abby's mother smiled, "It's a pleasure to finally meet you." Abby's father simply looked at Jimmy and grunted before reading the newspaper.
Abby and Jimmy visited with the parents a little while before heading out towards Shoal Cave. It would be Abby's first time exploring the cave, and she was indeed excited about it. She wanted to see the Spheal and Snorunt that Jimmy had mentioned to her before. As she was walking towards the cave, she looked up and saw two very familiar birds soaring through out the sky. Tiny and Aero were flying around, and having a good time. On closer inspection, they apparently had kids. The babies held onto their parents as they were being flown.
"How cute," Abby commented as she kept on walking.
**Later that Evening**
Jimmy had walked Abby to her house, but stopped her at the front door. He embraced her tightly, and kissed her. Abby's face was flushed as she returned the kiss. With the fear that her parents might see, she broke the kiss and hugged him once more.
"I had an amazing time today," She said, "I hope we can do it again soon." with that, she waved goodbye and entered her house. She greeted her father and mother before making her way upstairs. She entered her bedroom, and changed into her pajamas. Shay walked in and jumped onto Abby's bed.
"Meow," she meowed happily. Abby smiled and crawled into bed. She then proceeded to daydream some more. About her life, Jimmy, her Pokemon, and the future. She did this until she had fallen asleep.
It was a wet, rainy dawn in a tropical forest. The solar light had risen from the horizon. A lone boy sat in the wake of a cascading waterfall in deep contemplation. All was well in the world. The birds were chirping, the grasshoppers were singing, and everything seemed harmonized. The sun started to transform into a heart-shaped figure, and the sky turned a light shade of pink. The water stopped flowing, and the boy regained consiousness. He seemed dizzy and confused. This went on for a while, until the sun broke in half, turned blue, and transformed into the moon. The water flowed again, and the boy resumed meditating under the waterfall. The sun came up, and soon after, it turned back into the heart. This cycle continued until the world eventually turned into some sort of hourglass, alternating between blue sand and pink sand. Soon after, it fell to the ground and crashed...
"Good job Huston!" said Nack. "I must ask, how exactly did you fuse the metal to the Poke Balls?"
"Well, Mind Balls can be created by merely holding the metal up to the Ball, but if you take your time and melt the metal and add it to the Ball, it will have a much higher capture rate." said Huston
Nack filled his, Abbys, Jimmys, and Jeremys backpacks with about 25 Mind Balls each.
"I filled your backbacks with Mind Balls. Let get a move on." said Nack. He bagan walking into the forest, holding the book Jeremy gave him to guide him.
